Looking for an IT Manager to join our client, a social services organisation located in the East. This is an individual contributor role focused on managing IT operations through effective vendor management, overseeing a single outsourced IT partner. Key Responsibilities

Vendor & Partner Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for managing the relationship with the outsourced IT partner.

• Stay informed on emerging technologies, particularly those relevant to the social services sector, and make recommendations for adoption.

Security & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations, including GDPR, and oversee cybersecurity protocols in collaboration with the outsourced partner.
• Conduct regular IT audits and risk assessments to safeguard organisational data and ensure IT systems are secure.

Key Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISM) are advantageous.

Experience:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT management or similar roles.
• Demonstrated success in managing outsourced IT vendors or service providers.
• Hands-on experience in IT operations, infrastructure management, and technology implementation.
