Your Role 

Aligned to our accelerated growth plan and further diversification of our Climate Infrastructure portfolio, you will have a unique opportunity to play a key role in executing on our innovative strategy. You will be responsible for origination, greenfield development, negotiation, documentation, closing and asset management of greenfield development projects and investments with a focus on general renewables and broader climate infrastructure investments. You will lead the development and execution of investment deals and collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence with internal and external policies, governance and regulatory frameworks. Additionally, you will play an active role in monitoring and optimising the performance of our renewable and climate infrastructure assets. 

This role will report to the Head of Climate Infrastructure and will be based in Singapore. 

Your Responsibilities 

• Originate / source new investment opportunities, including identifying potential customers / off-takers. 

• Prepare relevant internal documentation including strategy, transaction screening, investment committee papers and valuation reports. 

• Lead and support the execution of new investment opportunities. 

• Negotiation of offtake, procurement/construction and financing arrangements. 

• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and due diligence to assess the viability, risks and returns. 

• Maintain a strong industry network and working relationships. 

• Maintain a role in portfolio investments from start to finish. 

• Identify, quantify and be accountable for impact outcomes. 

• Monitor and optimise portfolio performance and identify opportunities for growth and value creation. 

Your Experience and Qualifications 

• 6-10 years of direct investment experience within the Renewable Energy (Solar, Wind, BESS, Biomass, Hydro) investing environment.  

• Demonstrable track record in independently sourcing and leading investment transactions. 

• Excellent technical skills and knowledge of valuation methods and financial structures. 

• Existing experience of operating in the high growth Asia-Pacific markets including Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines and Indonesia. 

• Robust understanding of the market dynamics, regulatory frameworks and policies.  

• Detailed understanding of raising and executing financing and in particular limited recourse finance. 

• Ability to review, assimilate and incorporate due diligence.

Your Role 

Aligned to our accelerated growth plan and further diversification of our Climate Infrastructure portfolio, you will have a unique opportunity to play a key role in executing on our innovative strategy. You will ensure that the commercial elements of our investments are effectively identified, negotiated and documented and that legal risk is effectively managed. Together with external advisers, you will oversee all legal aspects of the project development and investment process throughout the entire life cycle including origination, project development, evaluation, due diligence, financing, closing and monitoring. You will be responsible for key documentation including power purchase and fuel supply agreements, financing agreements, construction arrangements and key permits and approvals, and will be involved in internal policies and compliance programs to ensure adherence with external guidelines, governance and regulatory frameworks. 

This role will report to the Head of Climate Infrastructure and will be based in Singapore. 

Your Responsibilities 

• Provide legal support as relates to new transactions and matters arising from our existing Climate Infrastructure portfolio. 

• Lead the identification, escalation and mitigation of legal risks associated with our origination and asset management activities as part of the legal work stream. 

• Assist with the negotiation of a wide range of transactional documents.   

• Own the relationship with external due diligence providers to ensure all material risks are addressed. 

• Manage and provide advice on legal documentation and commercial terms relating to our direct investment activity. 

• Ensuring the maintenance of company secretarial records and legal compliance for our direct investments.

• Oversee various business-related negotiations including a variety of contracts, consulting with external counsel as needed. 

Your Experience and Qualifications 

• 10-15 years of legal experience with private practice at a law firm or an in-house legal function within a renewable energy investing environment or a strategic developer / IPP. 

• Law degree from a recognised university. 

• Demonstrated understanding of renewable energy investments as well as corporate and M&A transactional law. 

• Extensive experience working on corporate/commercial transactions in emerging markets with a robust working knowledge of shareholder arrangements and direct investments. 

• Strong ability to independently lead multiple legal workstreams. 

• Strong negotiation and drafting skills. 

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Provide full spectrum of secretarial support to the President/CEO

• Arrange, manage, coordinate and maintain President/CEO’s schedule including internal and external
• Keep track and remind President/CEO of his meeting schedule daily
• Handle correspondence and phone calls as first point of contact for President/CEO
• Coordinate media interview requests or queries as first point of contact for President/CEO
