We are seeking experienced and credible Modern Work Sales Specialists to join our teams across multiple business groups, serving enterprise, regulated, and partner services organizations. In the Modern Work (MW) Specialists team, we value individuals who can identify and win strategic opportunities by delivering Modern Work thought leadership and driving meaningful customer outcomes. As a Modern Work Sales Specialist, you will engage in consultative dialogues with customers, collaborating on planning, orchestration, and execution of initiatives such as Frontline Worker, Employee Experience, Teams Rooms and Phone, Next Generation Windows Experiences, and Copilot opportunities. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and partners to cross-sell and up-sell solutions, driving customer value and transformation.

Responsibilities
As a Modern Work Sales Specialist, you will serve as a solution sales leader within our enterprise sales organization, working with key customers to drive successful outcomes. You will collaborate with a virtual team of technical, partner and consulting resources to advance the sales process and achieve/exceed solution sales and usage/consumption targets for related workloads in your assigned accounts. You will help customers evaluate their applications, recommend solutions that meet their requirements, remove roadblocks to deployment and drive customer satisfaction.
- Sales Execution: You will collaborate with virtual team members to identify customer business needs and contribute to the development of solutions that proactively build a stakeholder network to accelerate and close Modern Work opportunities.
- Business Value Selling: You will foster and expand Microsoft’s relationship with Customer Business Decision Makers. Hunt new Modern Work opportunities by identifying and engaging with key business contacts, understanding customers’ business and technology priorities, governance, decision and budget processes, and landing the value proposition of Modern Work solutions.
- Scaling and Collaboration: You will collaborate with a network of internal partners on the planning, orchestration and execution of Modern Work opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell.
- Technical Expertise: You will initiate Modern Work Business and Information Technology Decision Makers conversations, share best practices and key competitor knowledge across solution areas acting as a subject matter expert to make recommendations on pursuit or withdrawal.
- Sales Excellence: You will collaborate with partners and resources to plan for accounts, do compete plans and business analysis to pursue high-potential customers and manage Modern Work solutions across the territory.
The Modern Work Specialist role is divided into three categories:
- Modern Work: Copilot, Remote Work, Security & Compliance, Teamwork, Insights, and Phone System to architect a solution by leveraging the Modern Work of Microsoft 365.
- Employee Experience: Microsoft Viva, an employee experience platform that brings together communications, knowledge, learning, resources, and insights in the flow of work.
- Surface and Accessibility: Surface device and accessories portfolio supported by Cloud PC.

Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 6+ years technology-related sales or account management experience OR 7+ years technology-related sales or account management experience.
Additional or preferred qualifications
- 6+ years solution or services sales experience. Master's Degree in Business Administration (i.e., MBA), Information Technology, or related field AND 5+ years technology-related sales or account management experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or related field AND 8+ years technology-related sales or account management experience OR 9+ years technology-related sales or account management experience.
