Job Description: Senior Avaya Platform Specialist with Network and Security Expertise

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Avaya Platform Specialist with a strong background in networking and network security. With 18 years of expertise, the ideal candidate will lead the design, deployment, maintenance, and security of Avaya communication systems, ensuring seamless integration with the organization's network infrastructure while safeguarding communication systems from potential threats.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Leadership and Strategic Oversight:

Lead the design and implementation of Avaya platforms, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Oversee the integration of Avaya systems with complex network infrastructures.

Provide expert guidance on telecommunication strategies, network architecture, and security best practices.

2. Advanced System Administration:

Manage and optimize advanced Avaya solutions, including Avaya Aura, Avaya IP Office, and Avaya Contact Center platforms.

Oversee system upgrades, patches, and lifecycle management to ensure performance and reliability.

Design and manage complex call flows, IVR systems, and SIP trunking solutions.

3. Network and Security Integration:

Collaborate with network teams to configure routers, switches, and firewalls for Avaya system integration.

Implement Quality of Service (QoS) to ensure optimal voice and video communication performance.

Design and enforce robust security measures for Avaya platforms, protecting against VoIP vulnerabilities, DDoS attacks, and unauthorized access.

4. Troubleshooting and Incident Management:

Lead the resolution of complex system and network issues, conducting root cause analysis and applying preventive measures.

Act as the primary escalation point for Avaya-related incidents and outages.

Partner with vendors and service providers for advanced troubleshooting and support.

5. Project Management:

Oversee large-scale deployments, migrations, and upgrades of Avaya systems and associated network infrastructure.

Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring high-quality delivery.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless project execution.

6. Optimization and Performance Tuning:

Monitor system and network performance, identifying and addressing bottlenecks.

Optimize call routing, failover configurations, and bandwidth utilization for efficient communication.

Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for Avaya systems.

7. Compliance and Documentation:

Ensure Avaya platforms adhere to industry regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS, HIPAA).

Maintain detailed documentation of system architecture, configurations, and security protocols.

Develop user-friendly guides, SOPs, and training material for technical teams and end-users.

8. Mentoring and Knowledge Sharing:

Train and mentor junior team members in Avaya platforms, network protocols, and security best practices.

Conduct technical workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions to upskill the team.

Stay updated on emerging Avaya technologies, network advancements, and security trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Expertise:

Mastery of Avaya platforms (Avaya Aura, Avaya IP Office, Avaya Session Border Controller, Avaya Contact Center).

In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, SIP, H.323), routing, and switching.

Proficiency in network security tools and practices (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, VLANs).

Expertise in VoIP technologies, QoS, and bandwidth management.

Certifications (Preferred):

Avaya Certified Support Specialist (ACSS) or Avaya Certified Implementation Specialist (ACIS).

Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) or equivalent in networking.

Security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+.

Job Functions & Summary:

Oversees all the maintenance and repair works of the equipment and machinery in the golf course maintenance workshop.

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

(1) Troubleshoot and maintained any faulty machinery, equipment and golf carts.

(2) Plan and organize all machinery and buggy checking and do the preventive maintenance/servicing as scheduled.

(3) Ensure and key-in, included but not limited to: data, update maintenance repair, inventory, receiving book and bin card.

(4) Monitor the machine operation systems in terms of its usability and the maintenance programs.

(5) Coordinate, assign and review the work of the maintenance staffs.

(6) Assist the Course Superintendent with the yearly budgeting.

(7) Responsible for daily reporting status of equipment downtime

(8) Responsible for part ordering and requesting quotations from vendors.

(9) Plans and arranges all the necessary steps on equipment scrapping.

(10) In-charge of inventory for ad-hoc projects.

(11) Responsible for setting parameters on the use of materials and services within the approved financial budgets of the machine and equipment.

(12) Responsible for the organization and cleanliness of workshop.

(13) Oversee a team of Maintenance Staff

(14) Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of strong technical working knowledge in mechanical operations with hands-on experience.
• Strong practical and technical skills.
• Good analytical skills to assess various properties and equipment and detect potential safety hazards.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment.
• Highly motivated, quality driven and results oriented with excellent leadership capabilities.

Roles & Responsibilities

A Sales Supervisor plays a critical role in supporting the success of an organization. Sales Supervisor Job Responsibilities

Sales Supervisor Skills/Abilities/Knowledge

High school diploma or GED.

Bachelor’s degree in a business-related course with emphasis on marketing.

Ability to lead and motivate a sales team, and put in place measures to retain a great team.

2. Rotational shift work (e.g. week 1 - 0800H to 1700H // week 2 - 1300H to 2200H // week 3 - 1800H to 0300H // week 4 - 0100H to 1000H etc)

3. Work environment subjected weather elements (i.e. no shelter at airport tarmac, under rain / sun)

4. Proficient communications in English (to liaise with various stakeholders operating at the flights)

5. Basic literacy in Microsoft office (for generating & submitting of daily operational / incident reports etc)

6. Point of contact for client's operational counterparts; to coordinate & implement changes as directed.

7. Possession a valid Airfield Driving Permit (ADP) would be a bonus.
