I- Basic Function/General Scope of Work

Job Description

Design the software architecture of a Multi-Robot Management System (MRMS); ensuring scalability to manage a large number of Heterogeneous robots. The incumbent would also be required to work on applications within the MRMS and to ensure applications developed by other team members are according to specifications. This role reports directly to the Head of Autonomous System of Systems Strategic Engineering Centre.

Objectives of this Role

• Developing and updating software architecture a Cloud Native MRMS, for deployment on public and private clouds.
• Working with the Product Owner of the MRMS on the product roadmap.
• Lead the product development effort;Ensure the applications assigned to other team members are developed according to specifications.
  Developing some applications for the MRMS.
  
• Maintaining and updating the software stack for the MRMS.
• Advise/train team members in cloud native architecture design

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in two or more of the following areas:Cloud native software architecture design.
  Distributed software development.
  Cloud based robot fleet management.
  ROS and ROS 2 or any robotic middlewares.
  
• Highly proficient in one or more programming languages, eg. C/C++, Python, Golang and JavaScript.
• Experience in the following areas will be advantageous:Working on Linux (Ubuntu/RedHat) and Windows OS.
  Working on MySQL or MSSQL database server.
  Working with communication protocols like WebSocket, Restful API, Open DDS or protobuf etc.
  
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical support during pre-sales for assigned cybersecurity products to customers.
• Collaborate closely with the Sales team to develop and position solutions for go-to-market strategies and customer proposals.
• Understand customer IT/Security infrastructure and business requirements.
• Execute strategic cybersecurity solution selling and conduct cybersecurity solutions demonstrations.
• Perform Proof of Concept for proposed cybersecurity solutions and Network Performance solutions.
• Collaborate with Solution Vendors on Business Solution Proposals, addressing RFI/RFP design, compliance, and clarifications.
• Conduct in-house lab tests to validate customer proof-of-concept setups, endpoint/network designs, and deployments using new products and features.
• Stay current on competitive solutions, products, and services in the cybersecurity field.
• Provide enablement training for internal Post Sales engineers and partners on product/technology knowledge.
• Regularly update internal sales staff on new products and technologies.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and vendors.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in Pre-Sales activities for large enterprises, government sectors, or related fields. Candidates with extensive experience in the delivery and implementation of cybersecurity technology, open to transitioning into a presales consultant role, are welcome to apply.

Strong knowledge and understanding of the security industry.

Willingness to perform demos and presentations showcasing expertise in key security technologies.

Good technical knowledge in Internet architecture, network infrastructure, Software-Defined Networks, Network Performance tools and solutions, UNIX, Windows, VMware, and security covering Endpoint, Email, Web & Cloud.

Ability to design architecture and write proposals.

Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Englih.

Eagerness and ability to engage in courteous customer handling with commercial judgment preferred.

Job Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent with min. 7 years of experience in IT Project Management in the financial industry
• Experience in managing the entire software development practices, various development methodologies and implementation
• Experience in managing deployment of IT infrastructure, such as systems & networks and cybersecurity solutions
• Experiences in major IT infrastructure & cybersecurity system updates, upgrades, OS hardening and migrations
• Constantly keep abreast of latest technology changes to maintain deployment and operational efficiency
• In-depth knowledge on Project Management/Business Analysis
