We invite you to be part of our ambitious, close-knit team creating systems for large customers who need to crunch through Tbps of data in real-time. Our approach is relentless performance-oriented software engineering vs. server sprawl in our customers' data centres.

You will use the latest high-end hardware and continuously devise ways to push the envelope of software performance.

We build in-house systems if we must. We had to for indexing 1M 60-column rows/s, for aggregating high throughput event streams over hundreds of combinations of dimensions, and for pattern matching 5M patterns at 100Gb/s per 2RU. We use these to solve real customer problems.

You will experiment wildly. For example we implemented network monitoring using a GPU, and we tested 4-socket machines with 2T RAM. Our current favourite platform is a 2-socket system with Platinum 8180 CPUs (112 lcores in total), 4x40Gbps NICs and 1T RAM, which we use to process 160Gbps.

You will help us build a successful software platform for the long run. We invest a lot in flexibility, such as with our extensible rule engine and declarative aggregation system that empowers our analysts and helps us minimise the C code we have to write for supporting disparate use-cases.

We know the devil is in the details. You will improve performance through better memory allocation systems and better data structures, all while ensuring that they are integrated with Address Sanitizer and fully tested using unit tests and end-to-end regression tests.

We work end-to-end. You will implement data engineering solutions that are both efficient and secure for handling events from 500 million users, and to extract insight without leaking individual information.

• Propose Product based on Specs and Input Pricing for Project Tender.
• Consolidating Sub-Con Claims.

(B) General :

• Assist Project Director for Project Finalization.
• Assist for Project Costing and Budgeting (Awarded Project).
• Assist to claim back Retention Monies from Client/ Main Con.
• Prepare Shop Drawings/ As-built Drawings (If necessary).
• Prepare Quotation and follow up.
• Prepare BCA performance evaluation after project completed.
• Other duties as assigned.

(C) Safety:

• Follow the safety procedures, rules and regulations and eliminate or reduce hazard at the work place.

Job Requirements

(A) Education, Qualifications & Special Training :

• Min Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Diploma in Civil Engineering, Bachelor Engineering Civil or equivalent.
• Job holder without the above qualification but with relevant experience would be considered.

(B) Knowledge & Skills :

• Microsoft Office
• AutoCad
• Reliable and responsible.

(C) Experience :

• Min 2 years’ experience in construction quantity surveying.

Job Description

1. Someone who has banking background and knowledge in banking products (eg. loans, deposits, credit cards, credit risks, market risks etc.)

2. Business Analyst from business background and not so much from technology background

3. Good in using SQL and have analytic skills - need to write SQL queries to pull out big data and to understand (analyse) the data which are pulled out

4. Someone who has risk background (bank) would be advantage

5. Able to do user testing, write test cases and do testing for large volume of data

More details of the Requirements

Primary role is performed daily and month end checks on the risk data with the focus on:

• Daily reconciliation / completeness checks and highlighting and following up on reconciliation break

• Apart from daily BAU, support to upstream projects which impacts data mart and support to downstream reporting queries and enhancements will be required.

In some instances, Risk Analyst may be required to write simple users specifications.

• Perform daily and month end checks on data in Risk Data Mart including updates of reconciliation reports.

• Follow up and resolve reconciliation breaks.

• Perform impact assessment and UAT on both upstream projects and downstream enhancement changes.

• Support end users queries of Risk Mart and Risk Mart projects related configuration changes.

• Write simple users’ specifications for Risk Mart.

• Work with Risk Mart BAU lead to perform and resolve daily and month end reconciliation checks and issues. Update reconciliation documents.

• Perform UAT and documentation, raise and resolve UAT issues independently.

• Provide support to end users queries and Risk Mart related projects configuration changes
• Assist in Risk Mart specifications write-up

A MUST skills :-

Conduct extensively data analysis and testing, hence both Banking and SQL experiences are required.
