• Escalating complex issues: Identifying situations that require higher-level support or specialized knowledge and escalating them to appropriate departments or supervisors.
• Maintaining the company forecasts to the AOP, providing revenue reporting and information weekly, monthly quarterly. Work with the VP on the success models, presentations, sales analysis and variance to sales as and when required.
• Market research and analysis: Conducting research to understand target markets, customer needs, competitors, and industry trends to identify opportunities and inform sales and marketing strategies.

GROUP ACTIVITY

• Lead generation: Collaborating with the sale teams, and distributors towards and executing strategies to attract potential customers and generate qualified leads through various channels such as advertising, content marketing, social media, events, and referrals.
• Product/service promotion: Supporting marketing campaigns, messaging, and materials (e.g., advertisements, brochures, websites) to effectively communicate the value proposition and benefits of products or services.
• Supporting Sales presentations and learning negotiation skills and practices: Engaging with potential customers, delivering persuasive sales presentations, addressing objections, and negotiating terms to close deals and achieve sales targets.
• Relationship building: Building and maintaining relationships with customers, partners, distributors, or other stakeholders to foster long-term loyalty and repeat business.
• Sales forecasting and planning: Analyzing sales data, market trends, and customer insights to forecast future sales, set targets, and develop sales strategies and plans.
• Customer relationship management (CRM): Utilizing CRM systems to track customer interactions, manage leads, and optimize sales and marketing efforts.
• Collaboration with other departments: Collaborating with product development for customer sample support, and other internal teams to gather insights, align strategies, and ensure a seamless customer experience.

Tactical and Indirect Responsibilities:

• Support the sales team in quote to customers & help follow up on status & close orders
• Order entry and acknowledgement
• Work with internal team to support sample requests. Follow up with customers on status of samples, and work with the sales team to convert them into orders
• Work with production, planning and control to schedule shipment. Work with customer & internal teams to pull in where necessary
• Support the sales team on weekly reports and updates. Prepare material for the weekly revenue calls, as well as funnel reports
• Help the sales & Marketing VP with price book updates, and in maintaining price book and the distribution of price books to channel partners.
• Support the team in organizing trade shows

Qualification Guidelines

Minimum Education

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent

Minimum Experience

• 8 years work experience in a similar role
• Strong focus on building customer relationships, and proven ability to support sales team to grow business
• Experience in the Semiconductor industry is a must

Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity within Fugro Marine Geotechnical department with the aim to become a project manager in the near future. The Project Coordinator (PC) is a member of the Marine Geotechnical Service Line and is involved in projects in the Asia Pacific Region.

About the role

The PC will work together with the Project Managers and is responsible for:

• Compliance with Fugro’s and client’s Document Control procedures and keeping the Master Document Registers up to date.
• Setting up and amending Project schedules for the Project Managers.
• Preparation of Project Documentation, like Project Execution Plans, any required bridging documents, which need to comply with the Fugro Document Standard (FDS).
• Financial Data input and verification of correct information in our Fugro Enterprise Resource Planning software, IFS,
• If required, coordinating with procurement in projects.
• Minute of Meetings and/or Action Tracker preparation.
• The PC provides a supporting role to projects through the coordination of project related activities, such as logistics, resourcing, training, progress updates, project tracking, preparation of meeting minutes amongst others.
• The PC works in accordance with the Fugro Project Management Handbook, ensuring that the agreed work is carried out efficiently.
• The goal is to grow in a role of becoming a Junior Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager and later as a Project Manager.

To become more familiar with the industry we are working in, which is geotechnical and marine industry related, the PC could go offshore on one of our projects as an Assistant Offshore Manager or could be seconded to the engineering department and/or laboratory.

About you

• Degree (B.Eng / B.Sc)
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of working experience
• Language and proficiency - Fluent (written and verbal). Ability to communicate and articulate thoughts, complex issues effectively in a clear and concise way is a requirement.
• Advance understanding of MS Office applications

Key Responsibilities (Job Description):

• Routine monitoring of the plant to do visual inspection of equipment and structure.
• Routine check of parameters and registering in log sheet; log sheet preparation;
• Operating the plant various process with DCS/SCADA system;
• Control and monitor the product water quantity and quality as well as the quality along the plant upstream process.
• Ensure all permit to work (PTW) system is carried out in accordance with company’s policy.
• Taking corrective actions during the process parameters deviation.
• Document/Digitalize operation data on daily basis for engineers to do decision making/analysis.
• Assist in plant operation normalization and ad-hoc on-site checking of equipment / process;
• Support plant maintenance activities;
• Chemical receiving, chemical preparation, plant housekeeping, etc.

Requirement:

• At least NITEC in Engineering discipline
• Entry Level candidate are encouraged to apply
• Class 3 driving license an added advantage

Able to work 44 hours week, may require to work on regular hours or 12hrs rotating shift
