We are seeking an experienced full time veterinary technician to join our team of vets and 10 support staff.

Your dedication will be integral in providing a top notch client experience focused on communication and animal care.

You must be competent with inserting IV catheters, taking bloods, setting up fluids, radiograph and ultrasound positioning, and have a Diploma or Certificate in Veterinary Technology, Veterinary Nursing or the equivalent.

Your position encompasses a 5 day work week, or 44 hrs per week (inclusive of breaks), and is inclusive of 1:2 Saturdays. We are not open on Sundays or Public Holidays, and there are no overnight duties. Shifts rotate through ward, surgery and lab.

Continuing education is supported and encouraged.

We have a lovely clientele and see an interesting and varied caseload. Equipment include digital x ray, ultrasound, IDEXX blood machines, IM3 dental machine, vettome, and tonopen. You will be required to facilitate and support research activities, particularly in the area of research collaborations within the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre (AMC). You will be involved in the review of contracts involving research projects and initiatives to develop the SingHealth Duke-NUS AMC as a top-ranked one.

With the increasing setup of more research strategic programmes and/or research platforms at SingHealth HQ, you will be required to support their operations and facilitation of all the research agreements. The activities include but are not limited to budget development, stakeholder management, project funding submissions and post Award administration.

You will provide overall administrative and secretariat support for the existing 12 SingHealth Duke-NUS Joint Research Institutes (JRIs) within the SingHealth Duke-NUS AMC and any new JRI to the be established. Job Requirements:

You will assist in developing fundraising strategies for both internal and external prospects. You will oversee updates to the Fund Committee, and also build relationships with possible prospects. As Senior / Executive, Planning and Performance Management (PPM), you will be assisting in SingHealth Community Hospitals’ (SCH) strategic planning process and performance management cycle. You will support the development and implementation of the Balanced Scorecard framework across the three Community Hospitals (CHs), including tracking and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and the communication of the strategy.

You will also assist the different business units of SCH to develop and ensure the accurate, appropriate and timely reporting of various management reports by providing key data analytics support, particularly in areas of strategic and operational importance to SCH.
