Beecroft Animal Specialist & Emergency Hospital has been established since 2021 and offers a 24-hour emergency and critical care service as well as specialist services in surgery, neurological, internal medicine and exotics. Have you always been an animal lover and dreamt of working in a veterinary hospital? We are looking for an MRI-trained, experienced radiographer to join our veterinary team. Our hospital has a full-time veterinary neurologist and specialist surgeon, creating a consistently busy caseload of patients for imaging. Candidates must also be willing to rotate in CT and X-ray imaging duties. The candidate must be able to do all general MRI scans, including standard body and brain imaging at a competent level. The candidate should also be confident to run imaging for CT and x-rays. Minimum 3 years’ experience in MRI in human hospitals is advantageous. Apart from MRI work, the candidate is also responsible for daily quality control and scheduling of preventive maintenance for the MRI machine. There will also be other ad hoc duties expected. You will always receive full assistance from experienced veterinary nurses and do not require any prior animal handling or veterinary experience.

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Research and develop machine learning models in various clinical areas such as clinical notes, medical images, and patients’ data

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields with strong statistical modelling and machine learning skills. Graduate degree in related fields may apply
• Hands-on experience in the development of end-to-end data analytics solutions and machine learning pipeline including data exploration/extraction/crawling, data processing, and model building
• Hands-on experience on development of AI models in NLP is a plus

Summary:

Responsibilities:

Program Management:

1. Manage Accelerated Digitalization (AD) demand pipeline in countryWork with sites and analyse operational data to identify AD opportunities
   Provide operations teams with assistance in the initial site assessment and technology matching based on AD toolkits and published materials.
   Actively work with functions such as Solutions Design on opportunity assessment and BCA development for complex robotics projects.
   
2. Support AD project deploymentsWork with country Senior Management Team (SMT) to ensure that appropriate internal resources have been allocated to each AD implementation project where BCA has been approved.
   Escalate demand and supply side issues regionally as required.
   Lead vendor liaison on AD opportunities in country such as getting proposals, conducting site evaluations or trials.

The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver on a research project in the area of Brain Computer Interface funded by the Ministry of Education where you will be a key member of the research team to develop a Non-Invasive Closed-loop Brain Computer Interface for Decoding and Control of Motor Imagery Kinematics.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the execution of the research project with the Principal Investigator (PI), Co-PIs and the research team members to ensure all project deliverables are met.
• Support the development of novel signal processing and machine learning methods for Brain Computer Interface (BCI)-based motor imagery kinematics decoding.
• Development of real-time Electroencephalogram (EEG) data processing architecture and associated Software.
• Development of the experimental paradigm and graphical user interface for Motor Imagery-speed decoding the speed-Error-related Potential detection.
• Integration of the Motor Imagery direction and speed decoder with the Error-related potential detector.
• Conducting BCI studies on healthy subjects as well as stroke patients in the hospital.
• Work together with a team of researchers to implement and test the BCI system, and also to evaluate the effectiveness of the system.
• Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at conferences and workshops.
• Work independently, as well as within a team, to ensure that project deliverables are met.

Job Requirements
