Summarized Purpose:

• Provides support to investigator sites, monitors, department, business unit or function through communication of information, training sites and documentation of services pertaining to clinical trials. Supports the overall performance, education and training of the sites on a study level to ensure the execution of protocols are completed accurately and on time. Uses the tools provided to answer all questions, takes orders and ensure clean data at the earliest point in time.

Essential Functions:

• Acts as the point of contact for sites, ensuring that questions, material orders and request for information are responded and documented in an accurate and timely manner. Ensures that the sites are properly trained in aspects of the protocol (following the study flow sheet) relating to the department. Provides guidance on pre-analytical aspects of the study to ensure smooth flow of data to and from the site.
• Triages calls where necessary to appropriate individual/departments and follow through to resolution.
• Resolves queries so that efficient and timely sample analysis is undertaken by the laboratory so report turn around time is met. Continually reviews exceptions to resolve so that the data is cleaned within the agreed timelines.
• Notifies the sites and all necessary contacts via telephone/fax of all relevant critical/voice alert values/ study specific requirements.
• Places all calls to the sites delivering sponsor alert, voice alert values (VAV) and any other critical values. Answers incoming phone calls, resolves different types of exceptions within assigned timelines.
• Monitors and escalates site issues through the appropriate departments/people e.g. project management to resolve and report as soon as possible. Ensures that all site issues are communicated and followed up to resolution, primarily to site and monitor. Reviews site performance metrics to educate where needed or to report back to monitor or sponsor. Informs site of the results or reasoning not to proceed.
• Follows the specifications and scope of work to evaluate requests for any additional test(s) (test performed in protocol) to be added to a sample. Evaluates the request for out of protocol testing following Scope of work for study. Facilitates requests to the appropriate person.
• Coordinates and resolves issues with samples at time of scanning to have the samples in the database and reported as soon as possible.

The Airspace Mobility Solutions (AMS) business, part of the Global Business Unit Land and Air Systems, is providing leading edge Air Traffic Management (ATM), Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM), Security and Digital Aviation solutions for the Commercial and Defence sectors.

The AMS business manages 11% of the world’s airspace and with revenues of over 500 million Euros worldwide, is the global market leader in airspace management solutions. In Singapore, the business focus is the delivery and support of two key ATM solutions including TopSKY-ATC(HE) and LORADS-III.

This role will initially support the TopSKY-ATC (HE) product.

Role Description

In this role you will work in an international multidisciplinary team focused on the Verification and Validation of the TopSKY HE product in order to confirm compliance to requirements and the fitness for purpose in accordance with Operational Scenarios. You will be responsible for the design and execution of the procedures and scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Verification of the solution to confirm the system’s compliance to the Functional Baseline requirements
• Validation of the solution to confirm the system’s fitness for purpose in accordance with the Operational Concepts.
• Contribute in System Requirement Analysis activities to confirm requirements are testable and allocate a Verification Method(s) and Verification Phase(s), documented in the Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM).
• Proactively participate in PI planning and backlog refinement including contributing to the effort estimation
• Conduct of the verification and validation tests in accordance with the Project Plan(s) and Project Schedule at the program’s relevant location (Thales ’premises, supplier premises and/or customer premises)
• Conduct of verification and validation tests during formal testing activities Acceptance Verification and Validation (AV&V) with the Customer.
• Communicate with both internal and external stakeholders for the V&V testing activities.
• Participate in System Requirement Analysis workshops, internally, with suppliers and with the Customer.
• Participate in Test Procedure Reviews and Test Readiness Reviews, internally, with suppliers and with the Customer.
• Report regularly on the progress of the testing activity against the agreed planning and budget
• Record the test results in the project Test Management System and any defects in the Defect Management System.
• Contribute to the Defect CCB by providing summary defect status and impact assessments
• Track and verify and validate defect corrections including regression testing.
• Maintain and retest test procedures as requirements are changed
• Produce Test Procedure Books and Test Reports.

· Support your Squad members (software, integration and verification)

· Support the Product Owner (PO) and Scrum Master (SM)

o Make recommendations on strategies to improve performance or productivity

o Identify risks, and proposing effective solution early and executing mitigation actions

o Provide input into the planning and coordination of program integration activities

• Contribute to the development of Policies, Processes and Procedures for the V&V activities best practice
• Leading Technical Working groups both internally and externally to define technical solutions
• Mentoring and support to all personnel involved in V&V activities, and contribute to succession plans for key V&V roles.
• Contribute to the development of V&V Engineering estimates for any modification proposals to the baseline in the context of projects/bids
• Work in accordance with the defined Thales processes and practices, and contribute to their improvement.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline

Essential Experience

· Test Engineering / Test Analyst experience of large, complex, real time software based systems (5+ years)

· Experience in Air Traffic Management Verification and Validation Scenario design and execution

· ATM experience in the following areas:

o Airspace

o Coordination

o ATM HMI

o Interpartition

o Adaptation/Configuration

· Experience with Air Traffic Management standards eg. ICAO, Eurocontrol, AID

· Application of domain knowledge to high value complex design, development and integration projects.

· Proven experience in conducting objective reviews of verification and validation artefacts

· Proven problem identification and analysis skills and system requirements analysis skills

· Experience in working in a multi-disciplinary integrated team environment

The National University of Singapore invites applications for Research Assistant for CAR-T cell manufacturing program in the Immune Cell Engineering Laboratory of the National University of Singapore. Appointments will be made on a 2-year contract basis in the first instance, with the possibility of extension.

Purpose of the post

The role of the research assistant is to support immune cell manufacturing, including CAR-T cells, for several ongoing clinical trials. We are seeking highly motivated, conscientious and meticulous individuals to join our experienced team, be trained in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and be involved in research aimed at improving the treatment of patients with cancer.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. work in a (GMP)-certified facility manufacturing immune cells for clinical use, including CAR-T cells.
2. apply various techniques in tissue culture, molecular biology, flow cytometry under rigorous GMP conditions, for which training will be provided.
