Duties:

1. Work in the role of team leader on tax related matter under the supervision of managers or directors to ensure that these assignments are executed based on the relevant professional requirements and on a timely basis.
2. Provide guidance and supervise the work of junior colleagues on the preparation of clients’ tax computations and tax returns.
3. Prepare tax computation.
4. Taking care of clients portfolio.
5. Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients.
6. Advise clients on corporate tax and personal tax matters.

Requirements:

1. Degree/ Diploma in Accountancy or Tax qualification or a professional qualification.
2. Proactive, committed and a team player.
3. Minimum 5-6 years relevant experience in a public accounting firm.

As the Director of Operations for APAC, you will be a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of retail operations, supply chain management, and customer service.

You will also -

• Lead the retail distribution strategy for Sunnystep in Singapore and across APAC region
• Manage retail store expansion plan that include but not limited to site selection, CAPEX analysis, budgeting, lease negotiation with major mall operators and high street landlord
• Take charge of in-store operations in all retail channels, that include but not limited to staffing, sales training, inventory and warehouse management, restocking, renovation and visual merchandising, logistics and sourcing, customer service, order fulfilment
• Build a high performance retail operations team that drive high sales and high NPS score
• Assist in the hiring and training front-line sales staff so that we can provide the best service standard in the industry while helping sales staff achieve their highest potential and keeping the staff satisfaction level high
• Work closely with marketing team to plan and manage in-store marketing events based on yearly campaign calendar
• Source and lead new retail business partnerships to expand our sales channels and increase our brand awareness

You MUST be or have –

• Passionate about Sunnystep products and mission, and passionate about consumer products that impact people’s lives
• At least 5 years of hands on experience developing and implementing strategic plans for large scale retail operations in a regional capacity
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals and objectives.
• A solid experience in supply chain management, inventory control, and logistics
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail
• A start-up / growth scale-up mindset, flexible, and open to adapt to changing requirements when needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and send Annual Review package for Insurance Policy.
• Prepare and send Quarterly Statements.
• Familiar with various Insurers ‘Statement and product features.
• Handle enquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide accurate and timely assistance to consultants.

Using discretion and judgment, provides consistent, high-level administrative support to assigned members of the Investment Department in a value-added manner. Ability to perform administrative responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Partners with assigned investment professional to perform a variety of specialized duties, which may be complex in nature. Understands their business needs; works proactively to meet those needs while following department procedures and guidelines.
• Comprehends the companies and industries being followed by assigned investment personnel and independently works to streamline and minimize administrative burden on the investment professional.
• Understands and masters all department systems, databases and research tools to ensure smooth and efficient department operations.
• Gathers research/data for presentation material, organizes travel for company visits, conferences and marketing trips and processes expense requests in a timely manner.
• Collaborates with the senior office associate to assist with administrative procedures and performs a variety of specialized duties which can be confidential in nature and require knowledge or understanding of department operations.
• Ensures external and internal communication, documents and materials are accurate and error free.
• Consistently looks for ways to improve various department processes and procedures to ensure efficiency.
• Performs additional responsibilities as requested.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and work experience (in an MNC, able to work in a fast-paced environment with colleagues of diverse backgrounds and levels.)
• Minimum five years administrative experience, preferable in the Financial Services Industry but not limited.
• Corporate Access (Planning and arranging Conference /Bespoke trips) experience is an added advantage.
• Meticulous, an enthusiastic problem-solver, exercises good time-management with excellent calendar management skills is necessary.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills. (Has strong written and oral communication abilities and interact confidently with cross-functional teams.)
• Able to multi-task and is flexible to change priorities as needed to attend to more urgent and important tasks.
• An initiator who is able to work independently at the same time collaborates well with the team.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Outlook and Word, Excel, Power Point, & Access (Sharepoint).
• Experience with travel (Flights, hotels, train and rental car, etc) and expense management (Concur system), video conferencing equipment (Zoom, TEAMS, Webinar, etc).
