JOBSCOPE

• Develop, lead, drive and be responsible for the management of human resource activities of the company encompassing change management, performance and talent management, learning & development, employee relations, employee engagement .
• Be the key point of contact for outlet Manager and Department Managers, work closely with them, provide strategic and operational functional support and guidance to them on managing and strategizing manpower resources, productivity, payroll cost and other people activities
• Plan, develop, roll out and update human resource strategy, policies and procedures as necessary, ensuring compliance with relevant statutory legislation and industry best practice.
• Champion change and drive continuous improvement within the hotel operations through human resource strategy, policies and procedures.
• Analyse and recommend the Company’s annual manpower budget in consultation with the department managers, and work closely with the Director and Department Managers to derive at the appropriate manpower plans to maintain optimum manpower cost, productivity, etc
• Drive Company’s annual training program planning in consultation with training & development team and monitor with learning & development team, employees’ learning and ensure that employees attend mandatory training programs, department SOP training and any other ad-hoc training programs
• Take charge of performance management activities of employees and provide feedback to management with regards to high potential employees, common training needs, promotion prospects, including timely management of poor performers who need support performance improvement and development
• Partner with director, Department Managers to retain and recruit talent by strategizing retention programmes and hiring needs with the Talent Acquisition team
• Work closely with the shared service and talent acquisition teams to ensure smooth HR operations, including timely and accurate sharing of information
• Contribute and lead human resource projects as necessary
• Any other suitable tasks as and when assigned by General Manager / Director of Human Resources.

Job Description

• Handle recruitment pertaining to advertisement, application screening, and interview arrangement.
• Conduct orientation for new employees and exit interview for resign employees.
• Maintaining of employee files and HR filing system
• Assist in preparing mid and end months’ payroll by calculating overtime, incentives and commission.
• Provide HR administrative support (foreign work pass application, Staff’s overtime, meal & transportation claims, and medical & hospitalization claims)
• Preparation of HR related letters (Letter of Appointment, Confirmation, manpower requisition Letter etc)
• Coordinate with staff, external vendors with regards to HR activities (CNY mandarin oranges, red packets ,Mid-autumn festival, Company lunch gathering, dinner& dance, other events etc)
• Assist in the company’s vehicles and general insurance cancellation and verification of company vehicles and general insurance invoices and credit notes.
• Assist in Company's Staff phones and contracts record maintenance, subscriptions and distribution.
• Perform any other duties as and when assigned.

Job Requirements

• Diploma/ Certificate in Human Resource Management or Office Admin
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
• Preferably 1 to 2 years’ experience in Human Resource Administration
• will consider candidates who have just graduated / ORD and have no prior experience
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

· Support Production system of Life Asia and Integral Group

· Program enhancements/developments related to Life Asia and/or group 400 system.

· Able to interact and coordinate efficiently with other IT Sections and within Core Application Team itself.

· Liaise with Web Application Team on Front-end applications on inter-related projects.

· Perform system analysis, design, and system unit/integration testing.

· Prepare/update Technical Specifications and end user system job instructions documents.

· Liaise with external parties pertaining to system collaboration and system testing.

· Sound experience in Life Insurance industry.

. At least 5 years hands-on coding experience in SMART 400 on AS400.

. Knowledge of both Life-400 and Group-400 will be an added advantage.

This regional role is responsible for Logistics Operations and Engineering projects within global customer management team. This role will support Regions and Countries for key Account Apple as applicable. This will include but not limited to Operations turnaround solutions, metrics/productivity controlling, process mapping, Lay-out designs, resource determinations/validations and other industrial engineering based activities. You will work closely with key stakeholders both internal and external to attain the project results and objective within the agreed timeframe.

• Responsible for managing assigned Re-engineering solution projects for Schenker’s existing and potential Customers / Operations within the country
• Mentor key operations and Industrial Engineering resources into development of continuous improvement/engineering activities for the generation of business improvement, productivity, service and/or profit maximization
• Institute standards in regards to the measurement and improvement of engineering tools within the key account and the region
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand the requirements, communicate data requirements and methodology
• Responsible for project deliverables and presentation of results and recommendations to stakeholders
• Work on strategic imperatives to drive innovation & automation in key operations
• Engage in new business/ expansion opportunities

Continuous operations improvement and re-engineering

• Analyze and document processes, workflows, position responsibilities and system flows in conjunction with physical supply chain, identify tactical recommendations
• Identify innovative opportunities that generate efficiencies, design new processes and direct pilot tests. Assess impact of designed processes, impact to warehouse design, technologies needed, impact to customer etc.
• Analyze contractual commitments, specifications, performance and other data to plan and develop logistics activities by using knowledge of industrial engineering, ergonomics, business practices & requirement

Infrastructure Design, Capacity and Productivity

• Review the current lay-out and perform warehouse re-design as needed taking into consideration of net impact
• Review appropriate storage types and methodologies
• Use variety of tools like AutoCAD, 3D modeling designs in CLASS, predict and/or improve logistics operations, warehouse lay-out and processes
• Conduct Time studies and work measurement analysis to determine the current productivity and cycle times
• Review the usage of appropriate MHE in relation to product specification, operations requirement and Lay-out
• Identify potential improvement opportunities and setting the productivity standards for the operations for ramp-up/ramp down scenario

Analysis and Support

• Conduct Financial impact (cost benefit) analysis for proposed initiatives, quantify savings projection and together with intangible benefits
• Assess the impact of changes and project against commercial offers to assess areas of further substantiation or profit improvement
• Support Operational Excellence/FLEX/Lean corporate initiatives and programs
• Offer support and advice to the Innovations team in the development of standardized solutions/tools to support general Logistics/Industrial Engineering programs
• Apply, implement and train staff on the use and interpretation of such tools/methodologies
