Job Purpose

The Investment Associate/ Analyst shall support the Investments department. Geographic region shall be Asia, including India. The role shall include execution of investment transactions in the region, with a focus on oversight of ongoing due diligence exercises, initiation, and maintenance of detailed financial models, and ensuring smooth deal closure.

Additional responsibilities shall include cooperation with Integration teams post-deal closure, transfer of necessary diligence findings and relationships to integration managers as well as the relevant Finance and Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform first-cut analysis of new transaction proposals for senior team members including deal summaries, initial modelling, and pricing/ IRR output.
• Maintain pipeline transactions database, including latest deal updates.
• Create and maintain detailed financial models for each proposed acquisition within the Asia region. Update as needed during and after deal closure.
• Assist in selection and onboarding of due diligence vendors.
• Oversee and review due diligence vendor workstreams for ongoing transactions.
• Escalate any red flag findings and important financial outcomes to senior managers.
• Assist in transaction completion, including documentation, tracking conditions precedent and conditions subsequent, and funding of transactions.
• Coordinate between in-house integration teams, target personnel, and due diligence providers to transfer appropriate findings, relationships to allow seamless transition of systems and processes after deal closure.

Interaction

• Works closely with other functional areas, specially finance and integration teams, as well as key operational managers to understand potential post-acquisition synergies and competency gaps within acquisition targets.
• Builds strong networks and maintains good working relationships with internal and external partners to keep abreast of the current business climate and macroeconomic trends.

Purpose of the Role

Job Description

The National University of Singapore invites applications for Research Assistant in Investigational Medicine Unit, Department of Medicine, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. Investigational Medicine Unit (IMU) was established to lead and facilitate investigational medicine research within NUHS through collaborations with academics and industry partners to translate laboratory discoveries. Purpose of the post

The Research Assistant (RA) will be responsible to, and work closely with, the Principal Investigator and study team members to ensure the successful completion of the trial on time in accordance with GCP, regulatory guidelines and institutional policies. The RA’s principal role will be to work in general practices such as recruitment, data collection, data entry and analysis.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The Research Assistant will liaise with the relevant personnel in hospital to smooth the process of recruitment and data collection and will be accountable to the Principle Investigator (PI). The RA will be able to:

1. Oversee the general management of the project;
2. Provide administrative and secretarial support to the project, such as organizing regular meetings to maintain regular communication with other members of the research team and collaborate with the study sites;
3. Undertake the day to day running of the project at the study site, e.g. Collaborate with team members at the study sites, recruitment, data collection at hospitals/participants’ homes;
4. Conduct literature searches, using SPSS to enter data, and analyze data and maintain trial database, as well as assist in preparing both progress and final reports of the project;
5. Maintain the highest standard of professional conduct and record keeping in accordance with policies and procedures;

Qualifications

The applicant should:

Case worker/ Social Service Executive/ Case Executive

Job Description & Requirements

The position above will be assigned up to 8 cases to manage. Your role is to provide psychological, emotional, cognitive, physical and appropriate disciplinary support for the residents residing in the dormitory. You will also be using a Trauma Informed care approach and must endeavour to promote the resident’s best interest at all times.

Resident Management

Your Key Responsibilities is to:

1) Support the Team Lead in managing one of the dormitories (Units).

a. Plan & execute weekly & holiday unit bonding programmes with input from the residents in your unit. The programmes must be varied, engaging, appropriate & beneficial for the residents.

b. Participate in regular circle times with all the residents in your unit to give instructions & information or to get their feedback.

c. Managing the resident in the dormitory according to the individualized care plan.

d. Manage the educational needs of your residents: Attend parent-teacher meetings and ensure that your residents attend school, complete their daily homework, help residents revise for exams, ensure residents have the required school books, appropriate school uniform and other equipment; provide additional tuition support when needed in cooperation with the Education Department.

2) Ensure the resident’s safety, health & good behaviour when they are in the Home and during outings & appointments.

a. Monitor the residents to ensure that they are present in the Home, unit or the activity you are supervising (or their whereabouts are known to you when they are not at the Home) and double check, communicate and give permission for residents to leave areas or activities under your supervision when it is requested or required.

b. Ensure that they follow and adhere to the structure in the Home.

c. Monitor the residents to ensure that they are physically safe and do not partake in any risky behaviour or activities which may cause themselves or others physical injury – especially during playtime.

d. Monitor & report to the department Heads of any complaints from residents, family members, volunteers or visitors to the Home.

e. Monitor & report to the Department Heads of any signs or suspicions of physical, sexual or emotional abuse or self-harm.

3) Work with CSLMCH Education Manager and various stakeholder from school to oversee the resident’s academic and behavioural performance in school.

d. Monitor student’s academic performance and recommend follow up programs to promote academic improvements

4) Work with various stakeholders & community partners (e.g. MSF & FSC) to plan and work towards family reunification.

a. Maintain a positive working relationship with the various stakeholders & community partners.

b. Conduct home visits when necessary (especially when residents are on home leave and on extended home leave).

c. Update residents’ family on their performance in the Home and propose reintegration to their families when applicable or appropriate

d. Conduct and facilitate programmes for the resident’s reintegration back to their families based on the approved care plan.

e. Work in partnership with other professionals and attend meetings including case conferences, case reviews, school meetings, hospital meetings etc.

5) Maintain proper record of all the services rendered to the resident in accordance to organization policy and MSF licensing requirement

Expected Experience

Bachelor Degree in Engineering with minimum 20 years’ experience in onshore/offshore Oil & Gas area or FPSO line(s) or MS degree plus minimum 15 years relevant experience. Diploma holders having 20 -yrs experience with additional qualification/ Certificate (making the equivalent to degree) can also be considered. Minimum 1 FPSO experience is necessary.

Ability to communicate with construction sites and commissioning team on technical requirements and manage technical queries and changes.

Client management skills.

Adequate knowledge of all the interfaces between Topside and Marine Engineering, facilities/systems of FPSO with specific attention to his discipline, and working of all Process, Mechanical, Piping, Structure, Electrical & Telecom, Instrumentation and Marine engineering.

Knowledge of sequencing of engineering activities.

Capability to review engineering deliverables of various disciplines and knowledge of the types of documents to be generated by each engineering department and the inputs involved.
