• Responsible for spearheading and implementing Company’s Quality system in compliance to regulatory, AABB (American Association of Blood Banks) and FACT (Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy) standard requirements or any chosen regulatory bodies undertaken by company
• Ensure requirements for AABB, FACT as well as MOH license guidelines are implemented and maintained
• Understanding and working knowledge of Good Distribution Practice for Medical Device in Singapore (GDPMDS)
• Keeping the Quality Management System up to date and in compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
• Ensure compliance standards to new regulatory bodies and/or standards and rules (if applicable) are adhered to
• Lead departments in the review and refinement of current practices and protocols/processes
• Initiate process improvement practices across departments to raise standards of operational excellence and service delivery
• In charge of initiating benchmarked industry practices
• Training and distribution of Quality practices within Company and regional teams when required
• Act as company’s management representative in compliance assessments
• Maintain document control centre and system for proper and updated records of quality documents
• Assist and lead in work process improvements and problem solving together with departments
• Drive yearly internal audits for audit readiness and interdepartmental coordination
• Ensure departments are up to date with annual document reviews
• Work with regional offices on quality matters
• Ensure quality training for new employees is performed and to ensure competencies of the quality department are up to date and managed
• Support with supplier/vendor qualifications with participating departments
• Coordinate and review workplace safety process improvements and safety audits
• To coordinate with regulatory bodies as and when required
• Review, perform and lead gap analysis of new standards published by accreditation bodies to ensure departmental SOPs are in compliance
• Setting up of Quality Management Practices for new services or entities assigned
• Spearhead initiatives for process improvement, review and control

During Farm Operation

• Primarily responsibility for overseeing the overall production of the Farm.

• Ensuring high quality, consistent and highly productive produce in accordance with the business plan set

out by the Company.

• Driving effective utilization, and management of the Company’s resources – equipment and manpower.

• Lead, motivate, and support a team for effective management of production process.

• Selection of suitable seeds for selected crop varieties for higher yield which is resistant to pest and suitable

for given climatic condition.

• Selection of right mix of growing media for selected crop varieties.

• Selection of right mix of nutrient solution to better yield with higher nutritional value.

• Operation & optimization of irrigation and climate control system.

• Manage data collection, analysis and optimization of production data, nutrient consumption, growing media

usages, energy usage etc. to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, and eliminate errors.

• Ensuring compliance with the food safety requirement during production.

• Carries out laboratory tests of growing media, seed, and crop samples.

During Farm Construction

• Review of design and further optimization wherever necessary.

• Communicate with suppliers to ensure design compliance and monitoring of their progress as per agreed

delivery schedule.

• Work with suppliers for seed, nutrient, growing media to be production ready.

• Participate in commissioning of various system along with supplier’s supervisor.

• Attend training conducted by suppliers.

• Attend coordination and progress meetings.

•Respond to work delays, emergencies, and other project disruptions.

• To follow all reasonable instructions of the Employer, the management of the Employer, or the designated supervisor.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Understand and study all specifications on our machineries, equipment and materials
• Research potential vendors
• Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
• Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
• Review of pricing of vendors from time to time
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery
• Review quality of purchased products
• Enter order details (eg vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
• Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage

Job Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Procurement Officer, Purchasing Officer or similar role
• Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
• Understanding of supply chain procedures
• Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses
• Negotiation skills
