Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory records through regular audits and cycle counts.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to fulfill material requests in a timely manner.

• Properly store items to maximize space utilization and ensure easy retrieval.
• Implement and maintain an organized system for easy identification and access to stored materials.
• Safeguard stored materials by adhering to safety and security procedures.

1. Record Keeping:

• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns.
• Generate regular reports on inventory levels, consumption, and trends.
• Collaborate with the finance department to reconcile any discrepancies in inventory records.

1. Communication:

• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand their material needs and address any concerns.
• Communicate effectively with team members and superiors regarding inventory status and potential issues.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar role.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of inventory management software and basic computer skills.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items.
