II. Major Functions:

The Manager should be able to do business development and corporate stewardship within WWF-Singapore. The Asst. Manager / Manager will have the drive, knowledge and skills to engage business leaders in transformational change, delivering shared conservation and community objectives, which will enable Singapore’s businesses to be a leading force in achieving the country’s sustainability goals over the next 10-30 years.

The role is also responsible for creating innovative corporate partnerships and fundraising channels. As part of the Fundraising Unit, the Asst. Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Direction & Leadership

Programme Maintenance: Together Possible @ Work

• Maintain the programme microsite with up-to-date campaign information, new engagement product offerings, and toolkits.
• Monitor results of employee engagements, report back on objectives, apply learnings across engagements.
• Share best practices of local employee engagement strategies, and provide other WWF global network offices with recommendations based on WWF-Singapore’s successes.

Overview of Partnerships Team / Unit

The Partnerships Team develops and builds partnerships and relationships that drive income to support WWF’s conservation goals. The team’s aim is to contribute significant, sustainable levels of philanthropic funding from 1) high-networth individuals (HNWI) 2) trusts and foundations, 3) companies to support the local (Singapore-based) and regional (mainly South-East Asia) conservation, sustainability and education programmes in order to advance WWF-Singapore’s mission.

• Work together with the Communications Team on development of thought leadership, PR & Media pieces for partnerships.
• To analyse, monitor and explore opportunities to communicate about partnerships through various channels.
• Co-lead the execution of the Annual Partnership Reports to recognise key partnerships and maintain transparency as part of network standards.
• Co-lead the development of the quarterly Partnerships Newsletter to communicate project updates and key highlights to the partnerships database.

Corporate Engagements

• Lead the planning and execution of community or employee engagement activities for corporate partners (eg. Green Talks, Workshops etc.).

Required Qualifications:

• Manage IT requests and provide IT support to TWC Group centres and head office, and ensure all IT tickets are responded to and resolved in a timely manner.

• To develop and implement internal IT operating procedures at Company level with provision of training to all employees.

Accounts Receivable

Accounts Receivable responsibility begins from the moment a project is set up until the debt is collected. Tasks include but are not limited to

• Check that projects are correctly set up in the system
• Complete vendor set up forms as and when required by our clients
• Generate work-in-progress/timesheet reports to support invoicing requirements
• Raise invoices to clients in an accurate and prompt manner
• Submit clients’ invoices on online portals eg Ariba, Coupa etc
• Ensure all relevant project costs are posted or accrued for
• Follow up with clients to ensure debts are paid within the credit terms
• Post the receipts from clients into the system

Other Tasks

• Work closely with the Regional Finance team for forecasting and accruals of income.
• Check and post of employees’ expenses in the system
• Check and post project vendors’ invoices (including interco invoices) in the system. For new vendors, check that the vendors have completed their screening process.
• Compute and post accrued income for month end close.
• Generate open intercompany invoices and take charge of the Intercompany settlement process with the London office.
• Ensure month end close is completed on a timely and accurate basis
• Prepare and generate management reports after the month end close or as needed
• Assist with the internal and external auditing process
• Provide ad-hoc support for project related tasks, forecasting, budgeting, government surveys as needed
