We are looking for experienced full-time Manufacturing Engineer to provide technical support and advice to Manufacturing Technicians on new programs and/or ongoing program enhancements. Develop and conduct tests to enhance manufacturing processes, monitor and compile test data, perform problem solving and provide technical support to resolve technical issues.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Build new Manufacturing Job Instruction Sheets (JIS), NC program, and Tool/Gauge plan with Siemens NX.
• Establish manufacturing procedures and proper documentation control.
• Initiate productivity improvement activities including equipment/fixture selection, design and deployment.
• Resolve technical issues relating to internal and external customers' feedback.
• Perform feasibility studies in the manufacturing capacity improvement, layout improvements and expansion.
• Initiate continuous improvement activities to existing manufacturing system and its related processes.
• Participate actively in company-wide productivity and quality programs.
• Put up justification for capital expenditure (CAPEX).

Qualification and skills:

• Diploma in an Engineering discipline with at least 2 years of relevant working experiences.
• Strong understanding and hands on with precision machining tool (CNC 5-Axis / lathe / milling etc.).
• Team player and able to work closely with other teams on cross-functional projects.
• Competent in Unigraphics and/or other CAD/CAM applications.

• Track in-process quality-related issues and incidents in master issue list and periodically report on trends, insights, and closure status to BU management.
• Understand and classify issues into discipline such as quality, operational, design, etc.

Job Description

• Track in-process quality-related issues and incidents in master issue list and periodically report on trends, insights, and closure status to BU management.
• Understand and classify issues into discipline such as quality, operational, design, etc.
• Host post-mortem discussion during each project closure to review issues and identify preventive action plan for each issue.
• Participate in manufacturing departments to track non-conformance reports filed during buy-off process and define preventive action plan.
