Job Description:

• Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers to generate new business and sales

Procurement Engineer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Research & understand market leaders of various products/commodities including new products, product trend, specification and cost
• Monitoring market demand/supply, trend and interprete its impact on company sourcing strategies
• Collaborate with designer and engineer by providing sourcing and technical assistance during new product development
• To carry out pricing analysis and regular cost review with suppliers for key commodities
• Develop strong supplier relationship and proactively work with the selected suppliers to achieve a higher level of engagement
• Identify potential manufacturer/product and provide recommendation to engineer via alternate sourcing activity to ensure supply resiliency and continuity.
