Key job responsibilities:

You report to Data Analytics team head of DEC.

Role of Data Engineer encompasses:

- Develop and implement techniques and analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software.

- Apply data mining, data modelling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets.

- Visualize, interpret, and report data findings and may create dynamic data reports as well.

- Maintain existing BI solutions / ETL pipelines and propose continuous improvements

- Communicate and collaborate with architects, stakeholders, business analysts, and project managers to gather requirements and define technical solution

- Ability to design appropriate solution in compliant to CACIB standards

- Develops detailed technical work plans, estimates, improvement plans and status reports

- Perform regular peer-reviews, maintain low technical debts, assess & up-skill junior staffs

- Ensure the respect of CACIB code of conduct and compliance rules within the team

- Contribute to initiatives managed at department level (continuous improvement, innovation…)

Preferred (additional skills preferred, but not mandatory)

- Exposure to data science technologies or other competitive data processing tools like Python, Spark, etc.

- experience on test driven development

- experience with Data Visualization tools

Requirements:

This position requires a candidate with,

• at least a bachelor degree in computer studies
• minimum 8 years of experience in Data Engineering role with financing industry, ideally in a banking environment
• at least 5 years of development experience with using Microsoft Business Intelligence stack coveringTabular Analysis Service
  Data warehousing
  Performance tuning
  Data transformations and quality checks
  Power BI dashboarding and reporting
  
• good exposure and usage experience in CI/CD tools / processes preferably Azure DevOps
• ability to design and present technical solutions to architects and to team
• proactive and problem solving attitude with ability to anticipate risks.
• strong communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills

• The incumbent is responsible for the smooth clinical and administrative operations. He or She assists the Center Manager/ Assistant Day Center Manager to look after the patients with life-limiting illnesses.
• Candidate must demonstrate the ability to care, to communicate effectively with the patients and/or caregivers they are serving. He/she is to ensure holistic and Person-Centred care are delivered to all patients. He/she is also expected to participate in organising activities for daily programme and support in some administrative duties.

Job Objectives

To ensure correct and timely dispatch of goods in accordance with Satair’s goals and strategies

Job Responsibilities

• Booking of shipments of customers’ orders
• Issuance of invoices and relevant shipping documents
• Arrangement for shipments being executed according to Satair’s policies and/or the customers’ shipping instructions
• Submission of shipping details to Satair’s customers
• Updating/maintenance of Satair’s shipping database re customers’ shipping instructions
• Inform relevant customer interfacing functions/colleagues about potential deviations to agreed transport/shipping agreements
• Maintain accurate records of all relevant documents
• Perform shipment booking according to order priority
• Control of and booking of freight invoices
• Ensure releasing of shipments to forwarders correctly
• Strong ability to manage multiple ERP systems and processes across different business units
• To pass DG course and carry out DG declaration for outbound shipments

Job Requirements

• Preferably able to work in different shift patterns
• Inexperienced Higher Nitec and Diploma graduates will be considered.
• Be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word
• Experienced working with ERP system, preferably SAP
• Ability to handle multiple ERP system
• Good knowledge about freight forwarding industry and incoterms
• Candidates with knowledge and certificate to issue "Dangerous Goods" documents will have an added advantage
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural team with good teamwork and eye for details.
• Be able to work on shift
• Be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills
• Basic IT skills
• Knowledge of Lotus Notes tools or G-suit
• Familiar with work-related routines under Satair’s ERP system
• Good knowledge about PC Doc and various freight forwarder systems
• Good knowledge about transport/shipping. Hereunder INCO-terms
• If required, knowledge of and certified to issue “Dangerous Goods” docs and freight handling of same
