Video Director

The Video Director is responsible for conceptualising, pitching, and presenting compelling video stories to clients and stakeholders, effectively securing project opportunities and ultimately delivering a successful video. This role requires a creative leader with a keen understanding of visual storytelling and the ability to communicate ideas effectively.

Job Scope

• Generate innovative and engaging video concepts based on client briefs and project goals for corporate video production
• Actively participate in business development activities to identify and reach out to potential clients and projects
• Craft persuasive and visually compelling pitch decks outlining the proposed video concept, storyline, and creative approach
• Deliver polished and impactful presentations to clients, showcasing the proposed video concept with enthusiasm and clarity
• Address client feedback and concerns effectively, adapting the pitch as needed while maintaining the project's creative integrity
• Collaborate with the video team to develop comprehensive storyboards, visual treatments and other pre-production documents
• Ensure that the approved concepts align with budget constraints and manage the requirements of the production, such as cast, crew, location, equipment and logistics
• Communicate the vision and requirements of each shot and guide talents on the scene and emotion requirements on set
• Work closely with producers, crews, editors, and other creative professionals during each stage of production to ensure the final product aligns with the initial vision.
• Perform video filming and production roles for events & commercial productions
• Basic video editing and post-production using Adobe Premiere Pro
• Digital file management and other ad hoc tasks
• If you are required to work on Saturday, Sunday & PH, off-in-lieu will be provided.
