SCOPE OF THE ROLE

You will be responsible for the end-to-end software development and support for all work related to projects, quarterly change requests, L3 production fixes. This includes software product implementation and administration, application design, development, implementation, testing and support.

You will also be responsible for quality assurance of the team’s delivery in conformance with the Bank-defined software delivery methodology and tools. You will partner with other technology functions to help deliver required technology solutions.

Other responsibilities include:

- Create frameworks, technical features which helps in faster operationalisation of Data models, Analytical models(including AI/ML) and user generated contents (dashboards, reports etc)

- Effectively partner with data scientists in enabling faster adoption of AL/ML model based systems

- Independently install, customise and integrate software packages and programs

- Carry out POCs involving new data technologies

- Design and develop application frameworks for data integration

- Create technical documents such as solution design, program specifications for target solutions

- Perform design and development of applications which may not be limited to: Software Applications, Data Integration, User Interfaces, Automation

Technical skillsets

- 5+ years of experience with application development in Big Data Ecosystem (such as Cloudera, ElasticSearch, Spark, Presto, Hive, Impala, Kibana, Logstash, Hbase, Kafka),

- Expertise in building applications using Scala, Java, Python, Shell scripting, Go

- Experience in large scale implementations and performance optimizations in the Big Data Ecosystem using Spark, Hive, Impala, Apache Kudu, Ozone, Presto, Tez, Iceberg etc

• Take ownership and responsibility of queries, issues and problems assigned to the Desktop Support Engineer
• Works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical issues within the desktop environment
• Escalate issues and involve experts wherever required in order to resolve issues as quickly as possible and any other authorised desktop applications & Microsoft or related security patches/Policies
• Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot for printers, computer hardware and any other authorised peripheral equipment

Specific Responsibility, Accountability & Authority:

1. Responsible for the general design and architectural input for their projects.

2. Responsible to the Project Director/Associate Director/Technical Director and is to liaise with the Architectural Executive, Senior Project Executive and Technicians.

3. Complete the day-to-day executive work including design presentations, authority submissions and project correspondence.

4. Initiate and undertake actions to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformity.

Experience

• Ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years' experience demonstrating advanced understanding of Wealth Management products, services, solutions, industry requirements, and legal/regulatory requirements.
• Have performed strategic business planning functions with the ability to quickly grasp and understand Bank’s business and strategic goals and objectives. Prior experience in managing platform & systems implementation with working knowledge of technology developments would be a plus.

The Fund Accounting Team Manager will be responsible for the following:

● Supervising fund accounting team with regards to the following:
