The School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) invites applications for the position of Research Associate. 

The Research Associate will be responsible for the investigation on multi-user coding for 6G mMTC communications, including the design of multi-user LDPC codes, optimization of message-passing multi-user detection, innovation of Turbo receiver for MU-LDPC and MP-MUD, computer simulations, and system performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop the multi-user communication systems (e.g., sparse code multiple access systems).

• Design high-performance multi-user codes (e.g., LDPC/Polar codes).

• Devise high-reliability multi-user Turbo receivers (e.g., message-passing algorithm).

• Conceive novel design strategies, factor graph, and theoretical-analysis tools.

• Work closely with PI and team members to ensure the timely and efficient completion for project milestones.

Job Requirements:

• Master degree or above in Communication Engineering or related field from a reputable university.
