What a Counsel (Visa Direct) Asia Pacific in Legal does at Visa:

The position is for a highly motivated and skilled attorney to join Visa's growing legal team. You will be a key commercial and regulatory legal lead supporting the Visa business teams as they expand and scale Visa Direct and its suite of product offerings to achieve its “network of networks” vision.

You will report to the Vice President Legal (Asia Pacific) and will be expected to work closely and in collaboration with Visa lawyers across geographies and functional support areas, including the Visa lawyers in the US headquarters and other international offices.

You should have both solid technical knowledge as well as practical experience in payment services and money movement, including licensing and regulatory regimes in the Asia Pacific region (with a strong focus on Singapore). You must also have experience and confidence in leading complex contractual negotiations, bringing along top tier technical legal knowledge and expertise as well as commercial savviness with you. In this role, you are expected to:

Be the lead counsel and “go to” lawyer for the Visa Direct business (and related products as well as services) for the Asia Pacific region

• Lead and manage (working with country lawyers as necessary) regulatory consultations as well as compliance across the Asia Pacific region as applicable to existing or new Visa products or functions (in addition to Visa Direct), particularly in relation to new payment flows or payments related commercial solutions and products 
• Assist with Visa’s launch or implementation of other value-added services that may be complementary to Visa Direct and other Visa products
• Be the hub advisor, interfacing between global and regional stakeholders in regional adaptations as well as localisations of Visa Direct and other global products, helping to ensure global consistency and coordination

Social Media Strategist  (SG)

12 months fixed term contract

Maker Lab supports clients across the technology, entertainment, financial services, and payments industries. We’re looking for dynamic individuals to join our team and support our amazing real estate-focused technology client.

You will help build and manage the region's social media strategies, campaigns and content marketing. You will work closely with the APAC Social and Consumer Marketing teams when designing and delivering effective social media marketing campaigns and evergreen rollouts - from strategy, ideation, assets creation and development, execution, measurement, and day-to-day operations to overall project management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and manage relationships with internal and external partners to move projects towards a common business and consumer marketing goal. You will also ensure relevant content analysis is done to reach goals effectively, helping to influence future strategy. 

Role: 

• You will be responsible for always-on social content curation efforts, from research and ideation to final delivery. 
• Work with the team and create the strategic foundations to help us generate and execute impossible-to-ignore ideas for the company’s and clients’ branding, promotional campaigns, and marketing communications.
• Evaluate trends, assess new data and keep up-to-date with marketing techniques.
• You will be a vocal advocate for the newest and boldest trends in copywriting and creativity. You will be tasked to share experiences and learnings to stimulate collective growth across the consumer marketing org. 
• You should be ready to evolve, investigate, pilot and change the courses based on insights and learnings to deliver optimal performance and creative excellence.
• Drive always-on digital/social media editorial content in line with existing content strategy for Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn and Instagram.
• Partner with designers to produce visuals that are social-by-design.
• Ideate creative campaigns and executions for heat moments and product launches.
• Proactive finessing and optimisation of copy to improve social content performance.
• Lead internal sharing on creativity, copywriting and social content best practices and champion creative excellence.
• Coordinate communication across a range of regional stakeholders in a matrix organisation.
• Research industry topics to spot new content worth sharing.

You:

• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
• 6+ years of copywriting experience, with prior experience and a proven track record in social media and digital content strategy within an agency, consultancy or technology companies
• Able to transform large amounts of information into simple findings that the client can incorporate into their marketing efforts 
• Passionate about all things content marketing, content creation, social and creative
• Ability to work autonomously and identify opportunities in ambiguity, with a self-starter attitude in a start-up-like environment.
• Strong project management skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic and constantly evolving matrix organisation.
• Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills and, ideally, fluent in another Asian language to support the projects spanning APAC.

• Ability to analyze and solve hardware and software problems efficiently.
• Ability to collaborate with other IT professionals and support teams.

Content Creator (Video)

As the Content Specialist focusing on TikTok, Reels, YT shorts and supporting other social channels, you'll be working with one of our clients - to help them grow their social media credentials across different platforms and target audiences - primarily driven by video formats. 

In this role, you will wear many hats - a marketer, a project manager and a community manager - thus, the ability to pivot quickly and effectively is critical to this role. We’re looking for someone passionate about social media, who understands what is driving trends, is well-versed in social media management and has strong content creation skills.

Role:

• Build and manage the content strategy for TikTok in partnership with the social media strategist.
• Keep up to date with content-related digital and social best practices and industry trends to identify opportunities for engagement 
• Be the guardian of video content for all social channels.
• Own the entire process of shooting, editing and uploading the content while measuring performance to drive future strategy.

You:

• Degree in Business, Communications, or Marketing preferred, or equivalent industry experience, ideally in technology, creative marketing or social media agencies
• 3+ years of experience in social media with a focus on TikTok
• Excellent video editing and shooting skills. Should ideally have a certification in video editing software 
• Has a finger on the pulse of pop culture and the Gen Z audience, enjoys driving energy around the latest and the greatest
• A high level of attention to detail and an ability to multitask with fast turnaround times. 
• Experience in working closely with Brand/ Consumer Marketing teams is a plus. Strong ability to apply market research, data, and strategy to come up with innovative outcomes.
• Self-starter who can work independently with minimal guidance.
• Team player who communicates openly to ensure that drives cohesion.
• Well-organised and manages time well 
• Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills and - ideally - fluent in another Asian language to cover projects spanning JAPAC.
