• Ensure workplace safety, hygiene level and cleanliness of the grooming centre.
• Perform general housekeeping to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for staff, customers and pets.
• Ensure safety of pets throughout the grooming process.
• Ensure that all pets are well taken care of and in compliance with AVA guidelines.
• Highlight abnormalities of pets to the customers to avoid unnecessary conflicts or misunderstanding.
• Trim or shear animal coats according to owner specifications
• Clip or file pet’s nails
• Perform ear-cleaning services
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

• At least 2 to 3 years of experience in cutting & shaving furs for dogs and cats
• Possess Class C/B/A Grooming Certificate
• Hand shearing and scissoring skills
• Comfort working with various breeds of dogs and cats
• Ability to work with dogs that weigh over 30kg.
