Job Description

• Work closely with Technical Engineer, competent to interpret specifications and contract documents
• Prepare tender submissions, variation orders, progress payments & claims and finalization of accounts
• Monitor and evaluate progress payments
• Ensure effective cost planning, controlling and budgeting
• Review and advise cost impact for variation of project specifications
• Analysing and negotiating cost with customers and subcontractors
• Monitor project delivery to ensure materials are in accordance to contractual terms and conditions
• Liaise with customers and subcontractors on all costing matters
• Any other ad hoc duties assigned from time to time

Job Requirements

• Min. 3 year of experiences in Aluminium / Construction / Architectural or relevant industry
• Min. Diploma in Quantity Surveying / Architectural / Building & Construction / any other relevance qualification
• Able to interpret drawing is an added advantage
• Strong sense of accountability and ability to quickly prioritize tasks based on urgency in a fast paced environment
• An eye for detail and cost conscious

Specific Accountabilities:

Fundamentally Setting up the growth strategy and leading the execution of its strategy for Growth

• Lead, steer and manage the team of Commercial planning.
• Drive implementation of regionally set sales business processes and IT landscape within the respective cluster / country to drive efficiency and effectiveness of the Commercial activities.
• Support improvement of Commercial related processes and IT landscape by providing cluster / country insights and best demonstrated practices to regional and Corporate Sales Planning
• Lead CRM function and Provide Performance visibility across Commercial and BU Field Sales (aggregate level).
• Jointly drive & set with regional CCO commercial Cost Budget and annual target setting across the Verticals and BUs.
• Development of and driving consistent sales structures, IT landscape and processes on cluster / country level
• Implement Commercial related processes, practices and procedures within the respective cluster / country and break down best practices, structures, and processes to assigned clusters / countries.
• Provide input and support for the monitoring, prioritization and manage the project portfolio within Commercial organization.
• Accountable for all results developed within the following sub-functions jointly with respective global funcation leads: (1) Strategy and Business Excellence for approving results related to cluster / country Sales strategy and planning and standardization (2) Tender Management for approving all results related to the development Tender Management process (3) Performance Management / CRM for approving all results related to the management of the CRM system and sales performance tracking in the cluster / country

The Director Commercial Planning is required to have Strong Leadership experience, and the ability to interpret a strategy into a team vision and mission through a corresponding plan, logical actions to drive and achieve the desired results.

Requirements:

• 10 years of relevant working experience in the same role in the logistics industry and its commercial environment, with a track record in sales.
• Preferred, Bachelor level in Supply Chain Management and Business Administration
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English languages.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills
• Self-starter with positive attitude to overcome problems effectively and able to work under own initiative with minimal supervision.
• Distinctive intercultural competency: able to communicate with all levels of the organisation, work as a team and build strong rapport and credibility both internally (country organisation, regional and global offices) and externally (customers).
• Possess strong persuasive skills when presenting the proposed solution(s) to the internal & external stakeholders.
• Require hands-on approach, able to multi-task and work under time pressure.
• Ability to travel abroad.

Job Description

1. Process monthly payroll and statutory submission (e.g., CPF, Levy, Income Tax)

2. Government Survey, support in MOM Labor Market survey and other surveys

3. Handle all recruitment, onboarding and offboarding activities including employment passes, renewal/ cancellation related matters.

4. Prepare annual appraisal review documents for Senior Managers

5. Maintain and update employees’ personal files and leave in HR system, ensure confidentiality of all HR documents

6. Submission of government paid leave and MUP claims

7. Periodic plan and arrange company’s events and teambuilding activities

8. Ensure all standard operating procedures for the HR are up to date

9. Liaise with insurance brokers on policy renewal, medical and hospitalization claims

11. Monitor Global HR metrics

12. Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management

13. Able to start work immediately

Core responsibilities:

· Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities

· Responsible for timely and completeness of taking off measurement

· Conduct contract negotiations during the course of the project in order to ensure issues are resolved

· Monitor project costs to ensure the objectives of the project are achieved in accordance to building contract law

· Responsible for cost control & planning and procurement advice

· Preparation of payment certificates

· Review the subcontractor’s quotation for completeness and prepare comparison for Director’s approval

· Assist to prepare project budget including monitoring on regular basis

· Prepare quotations and progress claims to clients

· Prepare work orders and claims to sub-contractors

· Prepare tender/quotation reports

· Oversee and ensure compliance with standards.

· Other quantity surveying duties assigned

· Site visit and attend site meeting

· Carry out site measurement

· Project final account settlement
