The successful candidate will work in a team providing tax compliance and advisory services to a mixed portfolio of corporate and individual clients.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide tax compliance, assessment and advisory services
• Oversee the entire engagements which includes but not limited to work plan, scheduling, budgeting, staff management, etc
• Be the point of contact between tax authorities and clients in answering and resolving issues
• Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges
• Train, coach, and supervise staff
• Be actively involved to help identify and research on tax issues

• Professional qualifications / Accounting degree recognised by ISCA
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in CPA firms
• Abreast with the latest technical and tax standards around the world
• Ability to lead and manage teams
• Good command of English with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and good interpersonal skills;
• Service-oriented and commercially focused, confident, extremely well-organised and can analyse and make things happen, and work effectively in a highly motivated environment.

• Perform reception duties, registration, payment collection and administrative duties relating to patients.
• Provide assistance to the Manger in ensuring the smooth operation
• Perform triage and assist during Emergencies.
• Render quality nursing care to patients according to the patient according to their needs.
• Assist doctors to carry out clinical/medical procedure such as venepunctures, dressings, suturing, removal of stiches and etc.
• Observe strict infection control practices in the care of patients.

• Enrolled with the Singapore Nursing Board
• Good interpersonal skills with a pleasant personality
• Able to work in a dynamic environment as well as being flexible and open to changes

About the position

The Investment Officer position will play a key role in achieving the Southeast Asia Economic strategy’s objective to increase Australian investment in Singapore, working closely with colleagues at the Australian High Commission and in other Australian missions in Southeast Asia. Working under limited direction to implement initiatives under the strategy, working with Singaporean and Australian Government agencies, Australian investors and the business community to promote Australian investment in Singapore. You may be required to undertake travel within and outside of Singapore and undertake work outside of business hours.

Key responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to

• Build, develop and maintain collaborative networks with key business, government agencies and financial sector contacts.
• Maintain and develop a current understanding of the Singaporean Government policies and emerging issues including and outside of the regulatory requirements for foreign investors.
• Work collaboratively with local project proponents to better understand Australian investor appetites and to shape investment opportunities to attract Australian investors.
• Undertake research and analysis to identify and report on investment environment, market insights, regulatory processes and barriers and existing and emerging business opportunities for Australian companies across a range of sectors.

Required Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge/Skills

• Qualifications in a relevant field are highly desirable.
• Experience in a related field is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated skills in building and managing productive working relations with clients, suppliers, business partners and/or government bodies, and a proven ability to utilise a network to achieve business results.
• Fluency in English is essential.
