• Coordinate and manage the end-to-end logistics of projects shipments including documentation
• Ensure timely and accurate movement of goods from the origin to the destination as per scope of work provided by the Project Manager
• Prepare and manage all necessary shipping documents and ensure compliance with international trade regulations and processes
• Liaise with carriers, shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies and other service providers to ensure shipment are transported safely and efficiently
• Monitor the progress of shipments and provide real-time updates to customers

Your Background

• Relevant work experience in operations, logistics, or project management, preferably in project freight forwarding.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
  are crucial for coordinating complex overdimensional cargo movements.
• Familiarity with specialized equipment, such as multi-axle trailers and self-propelled modular transporters,
  as well as a working knowledge of customs procedures for oversized cargo, are often preferred qualifications.
• Possess a solid understanding of transportation regulations, particularly those related to oversize and
  heavy haul shipments

Summary

Responsible for providing consistent housekeeping service to guest rooms, balconies, bathrooms, restaurants, public areas and circulatory areas that meets the hotel’s standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Job Responsibilities

• Attend daily briefings and take on daily assigned tasks.
• Understand the difference in guest levels (VIPs) and room categories.
• Record guest preferences, follow up and handover to Supervisors on guests’ requirements.
• Clean and maintain areas of responsibility according to SOPs & brand standards.
• Conduct daily check of all vacant rooms including OO and OS status assigned by Supervisors.
• Report room discrepancies to Supervisors
• Responsible for property cleanliness other than rooms (including guest corridors, butler tables and chairs, guest lifts landings, service lift landings, trolleys, pantries etc.)
• Maintaining equipment issued with cleanliness, conduct routine maintenance and inspections.
• Conduct rooms inventory when required. (In rooms items, amenities, furniture and fixtures)
• Communicate with Linen team, record of condemned, dirty/stained and rewash linens.
• Replenish guest supplies and ensure that guest requests are promptly attended to.
• Report damage or malfunction in hotel rooms / areas to Supervisor.
• Maintain equipment in a proper state of cleanliness.
• Maintain a section room report as well as a daily productivity report.
• Report lost & found items to the Housekeeping office immediately with integrity.
• Handle guest feedback tactfully, and report incidents or any other irregularities to Supervisor in a timely manner.
• Report unusual behaviour / activities in guestroom, floors / public areas to Supervisor.
• Record room status in allocated section accurately.

Project Planning Stage

• To familiarise with Centralised Cooling System (CCS), design concept, drawings & documents, scope of work together with the appointed project engineers for each HDB District.
• To familiarise with site, set up working space in HDB main contractor site office.
• To assist with checking method statement, shop drawings and submission documents of MEP contractor based on contract document and document submission from suppliers.

Project Implementation Stage

• To conduct daily morning toolbox meetings, and ensure contractors uphold safety measures on site.
• Participate in daily evening meeting before site work ends and summarise findings, obtain MEP contractor work plan
• To submit daily site survey report to PM & project email address.
• Update site log daily and upkeep shop drawings, master construction schedules and delivery records.
• To monitor and ensure that site works are carried out according to contract and shop drawings.
• To identify site issues and work with engineer to resolve problems.
• To receive the PSE equipment together with PSE supplier, MEP contractor. Verify the quantity and state of equipment on the basis of bill of lading on site.
• To conduct line checks to ensure the system are installed as per design according to P&ID, SLD and GA.
• To witness the site tests according to the criteria and method statement.
• To assist with carrying out pre-commissioning and testing & commissioning of CCS system according to contract / method statements.
• Enforce the safety mindset/culture for all staff deployed on site, MEP contractor as well as PSE supplier representatives.
• To work with the MEP Contractor’s Design For Safety Professional and Safety Officer to develop safety plan and measures to be implemented on-site.
• Work with the safety team who will conduct weekly work site safety inspections.

Project Closure Stage

• To assist with creating defect punch list to identify all defects and clearing defects to ensure smooth operation of system.
• To assist with checking the As-built drawings/O&M manual submissions by contractor.
• To assist with handing over the CCS system to O&M team.

What You’ll Need:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering discipline
• The RTO shall be accredited by the Institute of Engineers Singapore (IES) and/or Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES)
• The RTO shall have at least 3-5 years of experience as a RTO, of which at least 1-2 years shall be in supervision of works involving installation and T&C for chilled water plant and distribution pipework.

As a Director in the Singapore office, you will be leading various types of cross-border projects, especially with Japanese companies. You will discuss top-management issues with executives in Japanese company including non-English speakers. Your role is support growth of global business of Japanese companies, especially for expanding client’s business to ASEAN including Singapore. You are also expected to find the investment opportunities with your digital related experience for joint venture business with Japanese companies.
