The Process Improvement Manager at the direction of management, is responsible for selecting current products, components or processes to be analyzed and evaluated, with the purpose of establishing efficient and cost-effective processes that ensure the production of high-quality products and services. The activities shall consider all aspects of the design and production of products and services.
The Process Improvement Manager will be responsible for the evaluation process, justification of improvements, and implementation plans, as well as facilitating activities to integrate improvements into the business. The current processes will be thoroughly reviewed, improved, documented, and implemented. To improve key performance objectives such as costs, on-time deliveries, cost of quality, and safety, the position must take a leadership role in identifying, planning, coordinating, implementing, monitoring, and auditing processes across all functional areas, suppliers, and customers.
