JOB DESCRIPTION

As the Senior Manager, Project Management, you will support the delivery of large Data Centre Projects from their inception to completion, or, depending on your experience, lead our small to medium scale projects. Initially, your team will work closely with “Technical Solutions” to manage the development of the Design, and, with “Procurement” for the LLE & Tendering of Contracts. You will then support the SPM or lead your team in overseeing the construction and commissioning of the project. Working closely with the Authorities, Consultants, Contractors and Suppliers and seamlessly working with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the project is completed Safely, to the right Quality, On Time and within Budget. Once the project is commissioned, you will support the SPM or lead the handover of the project to our Operations Teams and end users/tenants.

Note that you will be based in Singapore but may be required to travel overseas for work if you are tasked to assist on overseas projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead (or assist) in the delivery of the projects and be responsible for project performance
• Lead (or assist) in the execution of the technical qualification and planning of pre-deals as the Head of Department shall direct. Lead and manage Deputy Project Managers and Engineers to generate project cost and planning structure for prospective deal engagements
• Lead (or assist) in the execution of approved projects’ quotation and/or tendering process for the various packages such as project consultancy, contractors, nominated sub-contractors, vendors, suppliers, etc in accordance with the approved procurement process
• Lead (or assist) in the execution of approved project plans and manage Project Managers, Engineers, Site Supervisors and appointed consultants, contractors, suppliers and vendors to ensure general supervision of the project work and the management of site implementation and all project related matters
• Organize and conduct regular separate and/or combined meetings with Clients, Asset Owners, appointed consultant, contractors, vendors, etc to address all project related matters including but not limited to below:
  Site project management and track progress of project implementation against the approved schedule
  Cost reports including forecast cash flow of project expenditures, monitoring spending of cost against approved budget, forecast project expenditures, etc.
  Tracking and evaluation of Contractor Claims, Variations, Delay, EoT and Delay Damages
  Statutory Authorities matters
• Lead (or Assist) in managing the inspection of the Project Works at site together with the site team and report to the Senior Project Manager or Head of Project Management promptly on any non-compliance and status updates
• Work closely with the Safety Managers to ensure all construction safety requirements are met and strictly adhere to
• Work closely with Client, Asset Owner and Operation team on any technical issues arising from site and execute the Project Handover timely to Client, Asset Owner and Operation team respectively
• Manage and execute other duties and responsibilities from time to time that are assigned by the Head of Project Management or Senior Project Manager

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Project Management, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the Project Management of mission critical facilities
• Experience in managing Data Centre Greenfield Construction is ideal but experience in the construction of pharma/ microelectronics projects also highly desirable
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Clear understanding of commercial & financial processes (Invoicing, approvals etc)
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Very good Administration skills
• Be thorough and pay attention to detail
• Able to work well with others and have good customer service skills

• Strong time management & work well under pressure

Job Requirements:

• Experienced in CCTV products
• At least 1 year of work experience in CCTV domain or networking

• Experienced in handling and troubleshooting technical issues.

A. JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Head of SEA Finance Retail, the Retail Business Controller will have responsibility for the full financial management of one retail banner operates in SEA, aimed at financial closing, cost controlling, profitable growth, consolidating, reporting and analyzing monthly financial results to assess the performance of the region and communicate to the various shareholders (Corporate, General Manager, Regional CFO).

B. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:

Main tasks

• Manages retail banner budget and forecasts preparation in accordance with corporate guidelines and timeline
• Manages retail banner monthly closures for both managerial and statutory purposes in accordance with corporate policies, procedures and timeline
• Monitors monthly financial results, analyzes and presents variances versus actual, budget and forecast
• Monitors the performance by store and provide feasibilities for new stores openings and lease contracts renewals
• Manages Capex investments and Store Portfolio planning and controlling
• Manage cash flow projection, working capital, banking facilities and all banking matters of Spectacle Hut
• Manages the relationship with APAC GBS, legal, internal audit and internal control team to ensure the compliance with law, regulations, corporate policies, procedures and internal control system of the accounting processes relevant for the preparation of the banner financial statements
• Manages retail banner Weekly Reporting on Net Sales and Topline KPIs

Business partnering

• Support the business in developing short and long-term goals, development plans and processes improvement
• Partners with commercial head & respective department head in developing business strategies, financial models, strategic revenue streams development, business lines, and strategic partner identification
• Assists commercial head in cost controlling and in evaluating the financial impact of business decisions

• IT Skills: SAP FI/CO, HFM, Oracle Planning, Microsoft Office tools (advanced Excel must-have), BI Tools will be a plus
