Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible to lead the team on Piping & Layout design activities.

• Coordinate on project specific issues with the Piping Design Lead.

• Based on the client specifications, follow project specific procedure related to Piping & Layout design.

• Work closely with the Piping design lead of the project to understand the requirements and address the demand on time. Develop reports as required by the lead.

• In case of any technical challenges, troubleshoot to resolve the issues on time and if required escalate to Piping Design Lead for quick resolution. Plan tasks and issue the deliverables as per company procedures.

• Be familiar with the workflows in the project once they have been set up. Taking initiative and provide any input to the Piping Design Lead on time and highlight in advance if there are any technical challenges.

• Coordinate actively with other offices, for the projects being executed from multiple locations, attend meetings, and communicate effectively. Be flexible and ready to assume additional roles in the project.

• Perform 3D-modeling using E3D / PDMS for Mechanical, Safety, Soft Volumes, Escape & Transport Routes, Access & Material Handling Routes, Equipment modelling, Package modelling with required TP points, Piping and Pipe supports.

• Perform FPSO layout design which includes Turret, Hull and Marine Piping/ Pipe support design. Conduct 3D Model Reviews both internally and externally as per the Project requirements.

• MTO preparation and checking for the Piping Bulk items and Tagged Items.

• Vendor drawing review for the static Equipment’s/ Rotating Equipment’s/ Packages and ensure all the Nozzle orientations; Vessel cleats Support requirements are in line with Design Requirements.

• Perform and Checks the Model object clashes on regular basis and collaborate with other disciplines for effective cleaning of the 3D Model to make it clash free.

• Perform Design Review on regular basis by using E3D / PDMS / 3D model software such as Navisworks for establishing the suitability of Layout / Piping design in accordance with standards and codes.

• Issue of discipline deliverables in project specific templates.

Job Requirements:

Work Experience:

• Must have minimum of 10-12 years of experience having worked in an engineering setup for upstream oil & gas projects (Offshore & FPSO projects) serving in the capacity of a Piping Lead Designer.

• Must have experience is using E3D / PDMS, MDS, Navisworks, Autocad and MS Office

• Experience in Norwegian projects and applicants experience to the relevant standards, NCS.

• Daily vehicle maintenance checks
• Loading the packaging materials/tooling/equipment to lorry. (eg: jumbobags / pallet jet..etc)
• Ensure all packaging materials is weighted and hand over to Logistic
• Safe Drive and follow all applicable traffic and driving laws. Staying aware of and reporting any incidents on the road
• Provide on site support (eg: Crushing HDDs / tape drives ) or degaussing activities..etc
• Assist loading customer goods at customer site
• Ensure obtains customer’s signature (included Date / Times) for customer request form
• Ensure the collection no discrepancies (matching with the collection advice) and if any call back for confirmation
• Fill in the goods collection custody form (indicate the numbers of customer’s good / pallets / bags received ) and hand over to GRN personnel for the follow up action

Experience/qualifications requirements:
