JOB SUMMARY

This role is to ensure a safe and secure environment in the work premises at all times by keeping a vigilant look-out and reporting any suspicious activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Reporting to the HR Executive and will be accountable and authorized for the following:

· Able to perform the essential functions of walking and interacting with employees, tenants and visitors on site.

· Secure the work premises and personnel by monitoring the surroundings through surveillance device/s and patrolling the property where necessary.

· Must be vigilant to the surroundings, ensure safe conditions in the work premise and report any suspicious personnel and activities to the HR Executive and top management immediately.

· Assist visitors to park at the correct location properly while moving their vehicles in a safe manner and within speed limit.

· Record the details of all visitors who enter the premise in the company’s log book before issuing the visitor’s pass and collect the passes upon exit. Update them on the assembly point when there is an emergency evacuation.

· Respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees, tenants and visitors.

· Assisting procurement/ inventory/ logistics executive as and when required.

· Follow safe work practices and procedures.

· Ensure company and QHSE policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.

· Perform other assignment and duties as and when required.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

· Ensure that all drivers and motorcyclists comply with and follow the company’s policies and procedures accordingly.

· Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all employees, tenants, visitors and the premises.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

· Primary level education or equivalent.

· Preferably 2 years of relevant experience in general maintenance activities.

1. Operating and monitoring manufacturing machines.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, design and prepare the Electrical/Mechanical services drawings for townships, commercial, residential and industrial developments, as well as the upgrading of existing buildings’ drawings for tender (These services include electrical/mechanical installation to indoor and outdoor facilities, underground piping system, lightning protection system, CCTV, single line diagram/schematic drawings etc).
• Liaise with Engineer-in-charge and prepare submission drawings to relevant authorities for clearance/approval.
• Prepare all Electrical/Mechanical tender drawings in 2D and 3D format (eg. Using AutoCAD, ArchiCad and Revit software).

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 – 5 years of drafting experience in Electrical/Mechanical building services in consultancy firm/relevant industry.
• Good knowledge and skillful to use AutoCAD, ArchiCad & Revit Software.
• Have good understanding of Building Information Modelling (BIM)
• Well-versed in Microsoft Office application.

Job Summary:

Provide quality systems, regulatory and technical product support for internal and external customer requests. Ensure Kalsec products comply with all of the government regulations and laws and religious dietary laws pertaining to the manufacture of food ingredients in Asia. Work with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies and personnel on specific issues affecting food ingredients. Advise Kalsec on the regulatory trends and patterns that could affect operations.

Essential Job Functions:

• Fulfill customer quality, regulatory and technical requests, assuring timely completion from internal and external customers and file responses if needed. Manage the reporting of product information using standard templates to fulfill customer inquiries.
• Monitor, understand and summarize regulatory changes pertaining to foods and food ingredient use in Asia. Share summaries with other Kalsec regulatory functions.
• Research and develop company statements in response to regulatory and quality requirements from customers and in response to industry events. Compare proposed company statements against other records and standards, verifying for consistencies and accuracy.
• Collect and use data on departmental performance to make recommendations for continuous process improvement.
• Accurately maintain product information databases to help guide the development of products. Research and review information about ingredients used in finished products and raw materials and entering data into databases.
• Manage process of Kosher and Halal certification.

Education/Experience/Skills:

Required:

• Demonstrated ability working in teams to manage quick turnaround times in high volume, high variety, open office environment while meeting aggressive deadlines
• Strong organizational and computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a professional manner with customers and co-workers by telephone, e-mail and in person and ability to work cross functionally with other departments to complete requests.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be detailed and accurate with strong demonstrated proof reading and reference checking skills
• Experience with research and investigation of quality and regulatory questions and concerns and preparing professional and potentially legally binding written responsesMinimum of 3 - 5 years experience in directly related position

Desired:

• Prior customer service experience with food ingredients, pharma and/or FMCG food companies.
• Technical experience and quantitative skills related to risk assessment a plus
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
