Specific Responsibilities

Singapore Sports School is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position of Coach, Track & Field Academy.

You will be responsible for planning and implementing the training and competition plans for a group of student-athletes towards high performance in sports, based on long-term athlete development principles, under the guidance of the Track & Field Academy Head Coach. You will primarily be coaching sprints, hurdles and relays, but you should have a good knowledge, understanding and experience in fundamental movement skills and multi-event coaching in all events groups for U16 student-athletes. You will keep track of the progress of the student-athletes and provide regular updates to the Track & Field Academy, the student-athletes and their parents. Responsibilities

1. Design standardization.
2. Costing and project management.
3. Conceptualize and design machines and modules.
4. Implement design for manufacturing (DFM), design for assembly (DFA), and Concurrent engineering principles.
5. Design pneumatic/hydraulic circuits.
6. Create detailed fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and layout drawings.
7. Select and size standard components available off the shelf.
8. Undertake new product development or participate in sustaining engineering/Continuous Improvement Programs (CIPs).

Requirements

• Bachelor/ Master of Engineering with minimum 5 years relevant experience
• 3D solid Modeling, preferably Pro-E (others like Solid Edge, Auto Inventor, Mechanical Desktop, Solid Designer are also acceptable).
• Strong project management skills
• Good track record in:
• Ultra High Precision machine design
• High Speed Pick and Place mechanism design
• Structural, kinematics and dynamic analysis and FEA simulation
• Geometrical tolerance and dimensional analysis (e.g. stack up error)
• Engineering material selection
• Design troubleshooting
• Application of analysis tools like FMEA, DOE3-4

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Business Partnering with Commodity and BU Finance teams; supporting these teams with data, analysis, metrics and process creation/improvements
• Measure and track monthly Cost Savings vs target; and work closely with key stakeholders to identify opportunities to bridge such gaps

EXPERIENCE

• Knowledge in Spend and Cost Savings management reporting; understanding of procurement and supply chain operations preferred
• Knowledge of accounting principles and best practices of cost accounting
• Familiar with financial forecasting and budgeting
• Previous experience with fully integrated SAP, ERP systems
• Advanced user on data visualization tools such as Power BI, Excel and Powerpoint
• Ability to interact and influence other functional teams across the organisation
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Experience working in a MNC

EDUCATION

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in semiconductor, manufacturing OR similar high technology manufacturing environment.
