• Attend site meetings and provide technical guidance to subcontractors nd workers.
• To undertake specific task/assignment as and when directed by the Management

Drafting :

• Processes creativity, flair and passion for interior design and able to provide creative design solutions for projects assigned.
• Responsible for schematic and detailed design, including generating computer-generated 3D Visuals and preparation of design presentations.
• Draft technical drawings for fabrication and construction, including plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Responsible for generating technical shop drawings for construction using AutoCAD or equivalent software.

Requirements :

1. Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Project Management / Business Development or relevant/related industry qualification.
2. At least 3 years relevant working experience, preferably in QS or Contracts / Tender field in Commercial and Interior Fit-out Projects.
3. Able to INDEPENDANTLY tender for a project, from getting Quotations, checking Supplier Prices, preparing Tender Document, pricing accurately and competitively to help the company successfully secure projects.
4. SHARP and sensitive to numbers and cost involved, with little to no room for errors / mistakes.
5. Meticulous and Detailed in nature / personality : due to work requirement of dealing with important contracts and figures.
6. Be able to manage project costing and familiar with prices, so as to control the cost and expenses of the project to ensure project is profitable.
7. Proficient in English and necessary documentation/administrative work (Eg : Professional email correspondence with client and relevant consultants/parties).
8. Proficient in AutoCAD, 3D Max, Photoshop & Sketchup.

• Ensure the project meet legal and quality standards
• Manages project costing from early design plans until the completion of the project
• Carry out feasibility studies to estimate materials, time and labor costs
• Negotiate and draw up bids for tenders and contracts
• Prepare tender and contract documents for submissions and interviews, including bills of quantities, prepare quotations and cost estimates.
• source for required materials and vendors, handle interim progress claims, variation of sub-contractor progress claims, and variation orders.
• Able to liaise with consultants/customers
• Lead a team of Quantity Surveyors in pre-contract or post-contract and procurement administration of fast-track projects

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Prepare of tender documents, cost planning control and budget estimation
• Prepare, review and revise contract terms and conditions
• Preparing , negotiating and analysis costs for tenders and contracts
• Prepare progress claims, variation claims and final accounts
• Liaise with main contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers & other parties involve in the project
• Prepare awards of contracts, bills of quantities and other contract related documents
• Take-off quantity and project cost estimation
• Update the monthly cost along with the project team

Requirements :

• Min 2 years of construction Quantity Surveyor experience for building project
• Able to work independenly without much supervision.
• Communication in English and Mandarin (In order to liaise with Chinese speaking associate)
