Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate Ecommerce Retail Intern/Associate to join our growing team. In this role, you will be assisting in the daily operations of our online store, helping to improve the customer experience, managing product listings, and supporting marketing efforts. This position is ideal for someone who is eager to learn the ins and outs of ecommerce and retail, with an interest in fashion and jewelry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and updating product listings, descriptions, and images on the ecommerce platform.
- Ensure the online store is always up-to-date with the latest collections, promotions, and stock availability.
- Support order processing and fulfillment, ensuring a smooth customer experience from purchase to delivery.
- Monitor customer inquiries and provide timely, professional responses via email, chat, or social media.
- Assist with basic data entry, inventory management, and tracking order statuses.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to assist in implementing email campaigns, promotions, and social media content related to product launches and sales.
- Assist in analyzing online sales trends and customer behavior to identify opportunities for improving the shopping experience.
- Contribute ideas to enhance website functionality, usability, and conversion rates.
What We’re Looking For:
- Passion for ecommerce, retail, and the jewelry or fashion industry.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with ecommerce platforms (such as Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.) is a plus, but not required.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing and social media strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Proven experience managing social media accounts, ecommerce marketplaces and creating engaging content
- In-depth understanding of TikTok and its features, with experience in live streaming preferred
- Strong creative skills and a keen eye for visual storytelling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making
