Reporting to the Head of Vertical - Beauty, the Regional Key Account Support Intern will be part of the Beauty vertical and will be responsible in providing support for various marketing, communication and projects in the region. This 6-months full-time internship commences Dec 2024/ Jan 2025.

• Collating of monthly Beauty reports from all entities

Role purpose

To provide a high level of professional, client-focused support to partners/lawyers. The Legal Secretary delivers proactive administrative support, management of complex tasks, and client relationship support to both partners/lawyers. To act as the gatekeeper of partners/lawyers’ time and resolve conflicts.

General administrative support

• Proactive daily management of diary and organization of the day-to-day schedule of partners/lawyers, including the identification and resolution of potential issues

Financial

• Backup point of contact for clients on billing issues
• Awareness of overall WIP and outstanding debts
• Arrange and attend monthly working capital calls to discuss write-offs, billing amounts, deferred WIP, aged debt, and matters to close. Ensure matter manager(s) are also invited where applicable
• Follow-up actions from monthly working capital call:

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with product marketing team and business partners to manage channel marketing activities from planning to execution.
• To assist channel manager by monitoring stock movement and forecast for assigned customers/counters

Role

The Head of Legal and Risk will work closely with and assist the Managing Director to lead all legal and Risk as well as Compliance matters within the Company, contributing to the promotion and development of a compliance culture within the Company. The role is expected to evolve with the needs of the business. The Head of Legal and Risk is expected to be a self-starter and be able to work independently on usual operational tasks while pushing ahead with improvement initiatives. The Head of Legal and Risk reports to the Managing Director.

Job scope:

1. General

a) To provide legal support to various business units and departments.

b) To ensure all documents comply with the laws of the country.

c) To assist in drafting/review internal and external contracts and documentation, and to advise the Company and management on their legal rights and obligations in order to protect the interest of the Company.

d) Act as a central point of contact for MAS, Singapore regulatory issues.

e) Oversee and ensure legal, risk and regulatory compliance.

f) Monitor sanctions developments and their impact on the business.

g) Lead or participate in legal and risk, compliance review covering key aspects of the Company’s operations to ensure adherence to the Group’s policies, operating procedures and regulatory requirements.

- Be part of the executive committee in reviewing new business and exiting business of the Company and its related companies.

- To assess, advise and monitor the risk management of the business.

- Work with the COO and the management in updating, upgrading and expanding the operation processes of the overall business, covering legal and risk for the different business lines such as:

C. Data Protection Officer

- Be the appointed Data Protection Officer of the Company and its related companies in Singapore.

- Review, update and monitor the implementation of the Company’s Data Protection Policies and Procedures.

D. Insurance Coverage and Terms and Conditions

- To assist Management in reviewing the Terms and Coverage of Insurance, including Professional Indemnity, Directors & Officers Liabilities, plus Cyber Insurance.

- If there is any potential client’s issue, to assess the seriousness of the situation – on any potential claim.

3. The Head of Legal and Risk will also oversee the Compliance Department and will work closely with the team pertaining to compliance matters, implementation, and maintain the group compliance programme.
