Responsibilities:
A. Accounts & Finance
ā¢ Perform full sets of accounts such as AR, AP, Bank Reconciliation, Accruals, Prepayments, Deposits, Journal Entries, Disbursement and others
ā¢ Prepare and monitor cash flow forecast, budgeting and forecasting
ā¢ Manage and oversee overall accounting functions of Finance and Accounts department to ensure smooth operation of the department
ā¢ Preparation of full set of Management Reports and Financial Statements for selected companies in the Group such as Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Comprehensive Income, Statement of Changes in Equity, Cash Flow Statement and disclosure notes in accordance to IFRS Standards.
ā¢ Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, handle intercompany transactions based on the company reporting timelines
ā¢ Performance of basic financial analysis (e.g. Actual versus Prior Year / Budgets) on main P&L line items for discussion with management on a monthly basis
ā¢ Preparation of accurate and timely tax and audit submissions as well as being the main point of contact for all tax (GST, Corporate Tax, Property Tax, etc.) and statutory audit matters
ā¢ Mentor, guide and train junior staff members on accounting procedures and software usage
ā¢ Prepare and calculate for GST, ECI, and Corporate Income / Property Tax
ā¢ Oversee annual external statutory audits and provide support to ensure the audits are completed before the statutory filing deadline
ā¢ Act on corporate secretarial matters
B. Human Resource Management
ā¢ Prepare Monthly Payrolls
ā¢ Preparation and filing of Employees CPF and IR21 / IR8A
C. Administration
ā¢ Prepare and submit AGM and other secretarial duties
Job Requirements:
ā¢ Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or ACCA Qualification
ā¢ More than 5 years of relevant working experience
ā¢ Proficiency in Pivot Table and Vlookup and other MS Office Suites
ā¢ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
ā¢ Strong initiative and problem-solving skills, sense of ownership of his/her job
ā¢ Able to work in team or individual assignment and can work under pressure and multiple sets of priorities
