The Role

Responsibilities

• Successful delivery of projects from difference service lines according to the quality plan and procedure;

• Assist the QP in planning, coordination and execution of Soil Investigation and Instrumentation projects;

• Provide quality and technical assistance to QP when required.

• Experience in LTA, PUB project will be an advantage.

• Experience in ISO17020 audit will be an advantage.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering ecognised by PE Board.

• Min 5 years of working experience in Leading a team on soil investigation and Geotechnical design.

• Accredited by IES/ACES and with valid RTO certification.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in the tendering process from start to finish, including selecting bidders, preparing tender documents, submitting tenders, and awarding contracts.
• Take-off quantities and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) along with drawings and specifications for soliciting quotations.
• Source subcontractors and suppliers, measure quantities, and estimate costs for both pre-contract and post-contract phases.
• Negotiate, administer, and monitor pre and post tender/contract activities.
• Price and forecast the costs of various materials needed for the project.
• Follow up on the preparation of invoices, purchase orders, work orders, subcontract agreements, and letters of award to subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor and assess work progress, evaluate subcontractor payment claims, and manage variation order claims before certification.
• Ensure timely follow-up on monthly progress claims.
• Attend site, client, and consultant meetings as required.
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Possess Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of work experiences in quantity surveying or cost management role.

Job Description:

• Perform environmental control/enforcement support to the team.
• Monitor and verify that environmental impacts are kept to a minimum during the planning and design and construction phases of the project.
• Prepare and submit a Site Environmental Control Programme and Site Environmental Control Reports to the Occupier of the construction site.
• Identify environmental issues and recommend measures to rectify the irregularities.
• Prepare and submit a Site Environmental Control Report to the Occupier of the construction site.
• Organise campaigns, training courses and other activities to develop and sustain the interest of workers in maintaining good environmental health standards.
• Any other duties /responsibilities as assigned by the Reporting Manager.
