• Manage and maintain the general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable modules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements.
• Prepare and maintain journal entries, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions .
• Prepare and submit GST returns in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with bankers for bank matters, and IT support team for any IT issues relating to the Oracle accounting system.
• Assist in monthly financial closing activities and year-end audit preparation.
• Support both internal and external audit processes.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in accountancy or related professional qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in accounting or finance roles, with specific experience in GL, AR, AP, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel (e.g. v look-up command, pivot table).
• Meticulous with an eye for detail, responsible, and have a good working attitude.
• Knowledge of Oracle will be an added advantage.
• Possess initiative and the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Job Requirements:

• Degree / Masters in Law from reputed international university
• Qualification as legal practitioner in a common law jurisdiction with at least 4 – 6 years of relevant working experience preferably in debt and capital markets or the petrochemical /oil and gas industry
• Training and experience working in an internationally recognised law firm and currently working either as (a) an in-house counsel at a recognised energy or infrastructure company (preferably in the renewable energy sector) or (b) a senior associate specialising in energy project development/M&A at a top-ranked law firm

• Transaction execution is an important part of this role and the ability to lead and manage transactions, multi-task and prioritise competing demands are essential attributes

Job description

This position entails supervising a team Operators in various shift patterns, ensuring best practices are maintained in liaison with other Security Operations Centres (SOCs). The role focuses on delivering a high level of security and safety service to both local and remote sites, encompassing staff, assets, and information protection. Responsibilities also include managing all SOC technologies, leading incident responses, generating management reports, and exhibiting exceptional communication skills. Additionally, the role involves coordinating with emergency services, handling digital media evidence, and overseeing network video analysis for incident investigations. The candidate is expected to work independently, make critical decisions in response to incidents, and promote a safe working environment.

Roles & responsibilities

• Manage up to 15 SOC Operators, in shift patterns as required (Rota shifts)
• Liaise with other Security Operations Centres (R/GSOC) within the SOC network and ensure best practice is maintained throughout the network.
• Take responsibility for ensuring a high level of service to local and remote sites and staff with the emphasis on the security and safety of staff, assets and information.
• To effectively provide direction and manage all SOC technologies including network video, access control etc.
• To lead the response and provide direct action to incidents and alarm activation.
• Formulate Management Information (MI) and reports in order to share with management on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
• Exceptional communication skills at all times and an ability to adopt the appropriate approach when dealing with others who may be anxious or distressed.
• Direct the liaison with emergency services and other monitoring agents as required.
