Job Description

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Perform Laboratory Tests using both wet chemistry and analytical instrument.
2. Documentation records and equipment calibration and maintenance as per SAC-SINGLAS (ISO 17025) requirements.
3. Assist to maintain all necessary accessories / parts / consumables for the equipment.
4. Responsible for the preparation of materials / samples / compactions and perform analyses according to procedures and test methods.
5. Accurately verify sample results into computer, compilation of test result, and preparing report.
6. Assist in method development as identified, and new tests to be identified based on business opportunities or client’s requirement.
7. To assist in preparing SOP and train Junior Analyst for the test.
8. Constantly proposing cost-saving measures for daily testing / operations without compromising QAQC plan or data quality objective.

Technical Skill Competencies:

1. Assist in coordination and management of testing projects and validations.
2. Assist in inventory control.
3. To learn regarding SAC Accreditation.

Skill & Experience

1. Diploma / Degree in Chemistry, Chemical & Life Science, Environmental Science/Engineering, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or chemistry-related field
2. Entry Level candidate are welcome as training provided
3. Experience in operating basic laboratory equipment will be an added advantage.
4. Must be self-driven, team player with initiative and good communication skill.

Responsibilities:

· Issue DO and Invoice for daily orders. Ensure all information is correct and up to customer's requirements.

· Answer office phone and manage office cleaniless.

· As the first point of contact to attend the customers' enquiries and inform the relevant team and prepare quotations to customers if necessary.

· Prepare collaterals for sample submission and manage online platform.

· Input accounting entries into SQL Accounting System and verify all sales and purchase invoices and other COS.

· Monitor AR, send out customer SOA, resolve discrepancies and follow up with customer for payment. Alert salesperson in-charge and finance manager if customer’s payment is overdue.

· Monitor AP and prepare payment vouchers for management’s approval.

· Update bank books routinely, monitor and forecast cash needs to ensure healthy cashflow for daily operations.

· Handle petty cash and pay off daily operations expenses.

· Assist Finance Manager in bank reconciliation, closure of monthly accounts and quarterly GST reporting.

· Routine review of vendors’ quotations to ensure cost optimization without sacrificing service quality.

· Generate ad hoc reports, data analysis reports and presentation slides as and when requested by management.

· Maintain and improve on filing system of all documentations.

· Provide other ad-hoc support to office and operations functions as per instructed.

Requirements:

· Minimum Diploma in Business/Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent professional qualification. Fresh local ITE / polytechnic diploma graduates are welcomed to apply.

· Strong administrative skills

· Able to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure

· Computer literate; Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate documentation for shipping and tank truck operations
• Generate oil inventory entries to document oil movements and checking oil inventory data
• Reconcile hydrocarbon inventory movements
• Assist in other oil inventory and related support duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE “O” level or NITEC
• Numerically inclined and proficient with Microsoft Office
• Experience with SAP will be advantageous
• Experience handling shipping documents in oil storage terminal operations will be an added advantage. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
