Position Overview:

-To develop a schedule program for the commencement and completion of all architectural works to tie in with master schedule.

-To coordinate monitor and control Architectural subcontractor’s progress and quality of work.

-Attend project coordination meetings.

-Report to Project Manager the progress of architectural work.

-Assist Project Manager in compilation of handling over documents including as-built drawings.

-Execute control measures on material/plant and equipment/utilities usage.

-Understand specifications, drawings, scope and sequence of work.

-Ability to propose alternative material/work method for architectural work.

-Ability to interpret construction drawings for any discrepancies.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervision and check all architectural works and coordinate with engineers, archi-coordinators, sub-cons and inspection with RTOs
• Supervise and inspect all Architectural works to ensure quality of work
• To monitor and ensure all works are carried out in accordance to approved drawing/specification and complete within schedule time
• Be responsible for the planning and scheduling of time and resources for building construction projects
• Responsible for all on-site technical and engineering matters
• To ensure works carried out meet company’s quality standards & contractual requirements
• To monitor project progress and schedule and track the progress and time required when there is a delay/disruption to project
• To develop detailed workplans and cost estimations of approved items to forecast cost and workforce requirements to allow efficient scheduling of works
• Execute overall scheduling and specific planning work
• Design, implement progress and schedule control systems for the project according to set requirements
• Experienced in performing construction planning, and to co-ordinate with the client, sub-contractors, consultants and Authorities on all project aspects
• To Assist Project Manager in monthly progress claims and monthly progress reports
• To ensure that all requirements by Clients, Consultants and relevant Authorities are adhered and established
• Able to interpret drawings and details
• Supervise and lead a team of workers and sub-contractors to perform on-site works
• Assist in manpower and resource scheduling and deployment, daily man-hours returns and coordinate in all aspects of site issues
• Keep record of the daily manpower and productivity
• Monitor job progress and ensure quality work at targeted schedule

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• Required language(s): English
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Executive specialized in building construction or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaising with drivers and clients to ensure that deliveries are out and track shipment according to clients’ requirements
• Partner with driver operations team to coordinate on logistics personnel(e.g. truck drivers) according to availabilities and requirements for projects
• Prepare EOD report and invoices when required for client and local team
• Arrange same-day deliveries for events and projects
• Attend to clients' request and assist with claims for additional charges
• Assist with sorting and packing whenever necessary

• Interprets specifications and combined services drawings accurately, identifies discrepancies and performs calculation of levels;
• Ensures all M&E queries and discrepancies are put up and resolved in writing via the issue of “Request For Information / Request For Approval”;
• Submits and obtains approval of samples and shop drawings from the consultants;
• Produces, compiles and issues M&E documents, shop drawings and as-built drawings to the consultants for approval, and issues such approved documents and drawings to the site for construction;
• Works closely with the structural and architectural trades for the effective execution of interface responsibilities and associated works;
• Submits method statements of specialist sub-contractors, if any, to the QEHS section for its evaluation and corresponding QEHS inputs prior to approval by consultants;
• Controls the registration and distribution of M&E construction drawings and revisions, if any;
• Plans, co-ordinates and implements the overall M&E site works with M&E sub-contractors and other related trades;
• Identifies and resolves M&E on-site problems;
• Properly trained in QEHS Policy, Objectives, impact/risk assessment, relevant safe work procedure/ operational control procedure, management programme, applicable legal and other requirements.
