Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic bartender to join our team. As a bartender, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, according to established recipes and standards.
Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking drink orders and providing recommendations when necessary.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, following all cash handling procedures.
Monitor and manage inventory levels, including ordering and restocking supplies as needed.
Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary ingredients, garnishes, and utensils at all times.
Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of alcoholic beverages and compliance with local health regulations.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of our drink menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, and stay informed about current beverage trends.
Collaborate with other team members, including servers and kitchen staff, to ensure a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for our customers.
Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup and breakdown of the bar area.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working as a bartender in a similar establishment is preferred.
Extensive knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails and modern mixology techniques.
Strong customer service skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritising tasks as needed.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
Must be at least 18 years old and have a food safety certificate.
