We’re looking for a Linux System Engineer who will enable us to build industry disruptive tech products and revolutionise the way our customers use technology.

You want to

• Install new systems (bare metal and virtual machines), rebuild existing systems and configure hardware with a focus on infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation
• Develop and maintain configuration management tools
• Contribute to and maintain system standards

You have

• BS Computer Science degree or equivalent industry experience
• 2-3 years of Linux System Administration skillset
• Configuration management experience (Cfengine, Puppet, Ansible, etc)
• Big data and supporting systems experience (Cassandra, Hadoop, Kafka, Spark, Flink, RabbitMQ)
• Container and Container Orchestration experience (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience running hybrid environment of on-premises and cloud services

DESCRIPTION

• Bid preparation and project execution for floating offshore ammonia and hydrogen production projects, FAPSO & OSS.
• Undertake FAPSO topside Electrical engineering design to comply with the client’s requirements.
• Participate in vendor development for auxiliary distribution, telecom, high voltage equipment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support senior engineers and project managers in delivering sound engineering solutions.
• Development of Basis of Design for Electrical discipline.
• Development of load list, single line diagrams, specifications and other documents as required for execution of the project.
• Ensure that technical compliance with all design requirements.
• Use engineering software for modelling and analysis.
• Produce technical documents, reports and presentations detailing the findings of investigations under the guidance of Project Engineer or Engineering Manager.
• Coordinate with Engineering Contractor, Shipyard and Supplier Electrical discipline team to review the deliverables.
• Field engineering support during construction phase of the project.
• Commissioning and start-up support.
• Achieve safety standards as defined in project requirements
• Assist in preparation for bid submission to client, with compliant technical documentation.
• Assist in preparation for request for quotations, and evaluation of bids submitted by Suppliers.
• Attend technical meetings, and minutes down the meeting, if required.
• Keep track of relevant discipline tasks.
• Comply with environmental impact assessment and safety-related design requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor or Master of Engineering Degree (Electrical or related disciplines).

The Junior Structural Engineer reports to the Project Engineering Manager and shall be responsible for technical compliance with all design requirements and coordination with the necessary Client and Subcontractor’s discipline engineering professionals. Junior Structural engineer shall ensure that all de-signs comply with the requirements of the Work; that all Work is efficiently and effectively executed in accordance with the criteria, specifications and standards listed in the CONTRACT; and that the designs comply with safe and reasonable standards as accepted within the offshore oil and gas industry. The Junior Structural Engineer shall be responsible for his/her scope of work as given below:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist Structural Engineer to prepare and review key project documentation in executing the complete scope of structural, naval and hull engineering scope of work as per the project requirements.
• Assist Senior Engineer to prepare and review topside module and hull structure drawings, layouts and specifications.
• Ensure that technical compliance with all design requirements is met.
• Prepare and review detailed calculations, analysis, and solutions to deliver safe, secure and fully functional facilities.
• Interface with Client’s structural Engineering team to resolve the technical issues.
• Provide work progress reports.
• Accountable for the quality engineering deliverables.
• Achieve safety standards as defined in Project requirements.
• To achieve project completion to the project specifications on schedule.
• Support project planning as necessary.
• Assist Field Engineering support during construction phase of the project.
• Assist Lead Structural Engineer to Coordinate with internal and external parties for monitoring and controls.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum educational requirements of a bachelor’s degree in structural engineering or equivalent.
• Learn independently how to work and help out on FPSO projects.
• Minimum 0-2 years’ experience, preferably in Oil & Gas projects (fixed installations and FPSOs),
• Will be Good to have experience using structural software such as SACS, ANSYS mechanical, etc., or equivalent.
• Shall be skilled with commonly used business software applications such MS Office, MS project and drafting software such as AutoCAD and simulation software such as ORCA flex.
• Assist lead Structural Engineer to support the development and implementing recommendations from third party safety studies and workshops, including HAZID/ENVID, SIL Classifications, Smoke, Gas, Fire and Explosion Risk Analyses, QRA, ALARP assessments, Fire and Gas Mappings and Noise Studies.

The Role: Application Design Engineer

What will you do?

• Design and develop SCADA systems using various software suites, including System Platform, AVEVA (Wonderware) Historian, OSI PI, Geo SCADA, Ignition SCADA, etc.
• Configure and program SCADA software to monitor and control various industrial processes, such as manufacturing, energy, mining, and utilities.
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and develop solutions that align with their needs.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot SCADA software and related components such as PLCs, ensuring proper integration with existing infrastructure.
• Integrate SCADA systems with historians (e.g., OSI PI, Wonderware, AVEVA) for data acquisition, analysis, and reporting purposes.

As aSoftware Engineer, you are accountable for:

· Be part of the Security Development team to build innovative Security solutions for Homeland Security, Smart Cities and Critical Infrastructures.

· Be responsible for the technical/solution designs, code development, and component test execution to demonstrate alignment to the product/functional specification of the solution.
