Job Description

• Working Location: West – Boon Lay (Nearby Jurong Shipyard)
• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon to Fri: 8 AM – 5 PM, Sat: 8 AM - 12 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Read and follow job orders
• Determine the required quantity to meet daily output
• Prepare and set up machines for production – clean, checking etc.
• Ensure to carry out machine operation and maintenance in good and safe working conditions
• Control and run the machine to the fullest extent
• Being able to identify any faults or problems in operations or maintenance of machines and troubleshoot arising issues
• Inspect the machine outputs for process and quality control
• Provide detailed reports and logs on the work done daily
• Keep up with safety requirements and maintain a safe work setting at all times
• Proposing improvements to the process or machines as needed
• Reporting safety hazards within the work environment
• Debagging activities and packing products in 25kg HL and jumbo bags

As a Mechanical Engineer / Electrical Technician, you will repair, service, and troubleshoot a range of engines and equipment, including Cummins, Volvo, Perkins, MAN, Caterpillar, and Deutz. This role involves diagnosing and maintaining electrical and electronic circuits, control panels, and engine systems, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and meets company standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Repair and service equipment/engines (Cummins, Volvo, Perkins, MAN, Caterpillar, Deutz) as per schedule
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical/electronic circuits on generators, control panels, and electronic engines
• Perform testing and commissioning on engines and generators
• Interpret electrical/electronic drawings accurately
• Survey equipment to assess required scope of repair/service
• Troubleshoot, repair, or construct engine wiring harnesses and alternator wiring
• Construct, replace, or modify control panels (AC/DC) for engines and generators
• Maintain and care for machinery, tools, and service area

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose engine/electrical issues
• Skilled in reading electrical/electronic schematics
• Strong hands-on experience with engine repair and control panels

• Support production machinery with troubleshooting and repair work
• Liaise with external vendors to resolve major machine issues
• Assist superior with new production equipment installation and commissioning

Job Descriptions

• Manage and Plan the maintenance services, schedules and improvement works for smooth operations of the buildings with Senior Management team.
• 
  Tracking and monitoring the maintenance programs and schedules.
• 
  Oversee the supervision of the buildings to ensure all systems (fire safety, landscaping, mechanical & electrical systems etc) are running smoothly and safely.
• 
  Manage emergency and ad hoc repairs, breakdowns and trouble shooting. Providing technical support and advise the team and also act as the coordination point between the various subcontractors and/or Vendors.
• 
  Ensure the Facilities Maintenance team and external contractors/vendors comply with ISO standards and regulations and safety guidelines.
• 
  Coordinate and direct all administration of M&E works by liaising closely with consultants and client.
• 
  Monitor building’s system breakdown, defects and shutdowns.
• 
  Conduct and inspection to ensure property is well maintained.
• 
  Prepare monthly reports for the management.
• 
  Any other FM duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in related Facility Management or equivalent.
• Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management/Engineering / Building / Real Estate or equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer skills.
