• Provide operational and maintenance support for Satellite Broadcast Service

Summary:

Collaborate actively in the development of engineering designs in the different phases: pre-design, basic engineering design and executive project of the PV Plants in coordination with local and corporate teams assuring the most optimized designs and the inclusion of all technical specifications in their most updated version to guarantee technical suitability and technical and economic efficiency.

Engineering Management

Studies Coordination: Coordinate and validate with other Technical Support Units the execution of specific key studies (collector system, roads design, foundation design, noises, or others) for its integration in the engineering project, to minimize the risk associated to the construction process.

Providers and Supplier Management:: Establish relationships with the main suppliers and providers for the whole value chain in order to include the most efficient technical and economical options to the engineering designs for each site.

Common Standards: Assure the application of the common standards in the studies and projects, supervising its adaptation to applicable local regulation, to avoid non-justified deviations and maximize the investment efficiency with all the technical warranty needed. Detects the inconsistencies of EDPR standards to adapt them to company reality.

Company Policy and legal compliance: Understand and apply policies to prevent occupational hazards, environment and quality to ensure implementation and compliance on tasks under their responsibility.

EDP Renewables Interest Representations: Represent EDP Renewables to agencies and institutions, public and private, in matters relating to its jurisdiction to enforce the interests of EDPR.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering is required
• At least 8 years’ experience in planning, engineering and design of projects for PV Plants and/or BESS, substations and high voltages lines.
• Experience in permitting process of the above works is desirable.
• Experience in managing and supervision of engineering projects
• Experience in coordination and planning in engineering teams and external engineering companies
• Renewable Energy and/or Power utility experience is preferred

Introduction

ETH Zurich is one of the leading universities of the world with a strong focus on science and engineering. In 2010 it established the Singapore-ETH Centre (SEC) in collaboration with the National Research Foundation (NRF) to do interdisciplinary research on pressing problems.

In collaboration with the National University of Singapore (NUS), the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Duke - NUS, the National Health Group (NHG), National University Health System (NUHS), and SingHealth, SEC is undertaking a research programme on "Future Health Technologies (FHT)". It addresses pressing health challenges by developing a Connected Rehabilitation and Assistive Technologies Concept that tackles the increase in patients suffering from chronic diseases such as stroke, as a consequence of a rapidly ageing population, covering the value chain from acute care to patient's private homes. Within this framework we are announcing the following job opening.

Project background

The Connected Rehabilitation and Assistive Technologies Module (Module 3) will develop enabling technologies that provide minimally supervised high-quality interventions via a “rehab gym” equipped with clinical intelligence. Available technologies will include new robotic devices and brain-computer interfaces that are tailored to the individual patient’s needs, linking unobtrusive technical assessments via multiple sensors with interventions in real or virtual environments.

Module 3 will develop and validate new tools for quantifying short-term and long-term rehabilitation outcomes (i.e. via specifically designed wearables, instrumented objects and automated assessments, which potentially interact with an FHT App) (Project 1), delivering rehabilitation training at all stages of the rehabilitation process and in a minimally supervised manner (i.e. via new therapy modalities using brain-machine interfaces and virtual reality (Project 2) as well as mobile and wearable rehabilitation robotics (Project 3)) and providing assistance in permanently impaired patients (i.e. via new wearable assistive robotics) (Project 4). We will, for the first time, develop and evaluate a technology-supported therapy and assistance concept for the upper extremity which spans across the continuum of care, i.e. extending from application at the bedside, to rehabilitation services provided by community centres and finally to patients’ homes. The collected data from devices across all projects will enable the identification of biomarkers for predicting recovery and treatment response, development of a personalised long-term care concept for stroke patients and estimation of social and economic long-term outcomes (i.e. value estimation).

Join Apple Services Engineering Cloud Service Infrastructure team, as a Site Reliability Engineer, to help support and scale cloud services for millions of Apple users. We are building and supporting new and existing critical infrastructural systems and frameworks which provide and support services like structured and unstructured storage, caching, queueing, searching, and much more at hyperscale. These form the platform upon which many iCloud and other backend systems at Apple are built. The team is responsible for the next generation platform that will power Apple’s infrastructural services. These services operate at extremely large scale and store exabytes of data. The platform will support a variety of services based on open-source software, such as Kubernetes, Cassandra, Zookeeper, Kafka, Redis, etc, alongside internally developed services.

Key Qualifications

• Strong emphasis on SRE as an engineering subject area, with proficiency in at least in one of the following languages (Golang, Rust, Python, Swift)
• Successful track-record and proven experience as a backend internet services software developer
• Knowledge of SDLC, including continuous integration, testing methodologies, TDD and agile development methodologies
• Understanding of base internet infrastructure services including DNS, DHCP, LDAP, server virtualization, server monitoring in critical, large scale distributed systems experience, combining Hardware, Operating Systems and Software
• Understanding of SRE principals, including monitoring, alerting, error budgets, fault analysis, and other common reliability engineering concepts, with a keen eye for opportunities to eliminate toil by code and process improvements.

You are someone with ideas and real passion for software delivered as a service to improve reuse, efficiency, and simplicity. This engineer’s work will impact hundreds of millions of users and be essential to the success of some of the most visible current and future Apple features. We are domain experts in fleet management, systems, and software engineering. We build automations, instrument reliability tools, and respond to alerts and incidents which may pose a risk to the reliability of the platform. Team’s focus is on infrastructure capabilities and processes, improving the reliability and efficiency of the systems, at scale.

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Experience with large scale server provisioning and maintenance (OpenStack Ironic, Metal3, MAAS, xCat, Netbox, Tinkerbell)
• Experience with development within Kubernetes ecosystem, including operator framework, controllers and CRDs
• Experience with UI frameworks such as React, Angular or JQuery

SOME EXPOSURE TO THE FOLLOWING:

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

To oversee the Finance Department by ensuring the accounting records are kept in accordance to Town Councils statutory and legislation requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee and lead the Finance Department with the Finance Manager;
• Liaison with auditors, bankers, tax agents, government agencies and etc;
• Establish sound internal financial control and responsible for all statutory reporting;
• Provide financial analysis of the Town Council’s performance and provide financial advisory to Management through monthly and quarterly reporting;
• Prepare financial statements and audit schedules in compliance with accounting standards, statutory and legislation requirements (Town Councils Act and Town Councils Financial Rules) for annual audit review;
• Oversee and work with all levels of stakeholders on annual budget exercise;
• Manage tax related matters and statutory tax submissions;
• Ensure compliance and reporting under the Town Councils Act/Town Councils Financial Rules and other statutory requirements;
• Monitor daily cash flows, cash flow forecast/projections, including treasury-related and fund management related matters of the Town Council;
• Formulate strategic short-term and long-term financial plans for the Town Council;
• Review and make recommendation of process improvements and/or mechanisms to minimize/mitigate financial risks etc;
• Follow-up on auditor’s recommendations and implementation of control measures in day-to-day operations to mitigate/minimize internal control weaknesses;
• Ability to work directly and effectively with all stakeholders of the Town Council including supervising a team of finance staff;
• Keep abreast of changes in financial, statutory and Town Councils regulations and legislation;
• Any other assigned duties/responsibilities as prescribed/assigned by Management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Accountancy and/or other accounting qualifications;
• Minimum 5 years of Managerial level with relevant working experience;
• Preferably some working experience in management of Government Finance;
• Ability to demonstrate leadership, management skills and team-player;
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and people management skills;
• Ability to work with all levels of stakeholders; and

Requirements:

· Advanced degree in health sciences (PharmD, M.D., Ph.D. in a medically related field) required with solid relevant clinical or aesthetics experience desired. Masters or Bachelors level degree in health sciences (RN, RPh, PA, Certified Diabetes Educator, NP, etc.) considered if substantial clinical, research or industry (medical/scientific role) experience in relevant aesthetics area is present.

· Minimum 5 years of experience in Medical Affairs positions in Rx, OTC, Med. Dev. Markets

· Ability to train and prepare the sales team well in their interactions with medical professionals

· Strong interpersonal skills, including capability to engage in professional relationship building and networking
