As the Assistant Manager / Manager for Organisational Excellence (OE), you will be part of the team to galvanise NEA to achieve and sustain high levels of performance. This role is to collaborate and work collectively with both internal and external stakeholders to drive organisation-wide programmes for workplace safety and health (WSH), innovation and quality, and systems enhancements / IT projects.
You will be responsible for the following:
• Manage content creation and design via multiple communication platforms for WSH and innovation messages (e.g. monthly safety posters, videos, alerts, advisories)
• Assist in execution of WSH and innovation promotion events (e.g. the annual NEA WSH Day, NEA Awards Ceremony). This includes video production, photoshoots and design of event collaterals.
• Support general design needs for WSH and innovation communications, engagement, and outreach efforts.
• Support WSH and innovation awards programme, including review of criteria, tracking of scoreboards, approval of nominations, maintaining database, interpret analysis and trending.
• Manage WSH open reporting channel and to see through case closure
• Assist in ISO and BizSAFE certification and accreditation for NEA, for Quality and WSH
• Manage NEA’s Intranet (Life@NEA) pages and support system enhancement projects, in collaboration with the IT department
[What we are looking for]
• Recognised Degree or Diploma in Visual Communications or Multi-media Design or equivalent
• Proficient and competent in using editing software in creating graphics and animation products through Adobe Premier, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition, Adobe Media Encoder, and similar graphics software programs used in video productions and graphics design
• Knowledge in Digital Video Productions
• Possesses basic photography techniques and skills, for handling DSLR camera and video camera
• Basic coding knowledge for web layout is a plus
• Excellent writing, communications and engagement abilities
• Organised and able to multi-task in a dynamic environment
• Mature, independent and resourceful
• Self-driven and always ready to strive for improvement
• Has at least 5 years of work experience, preferably in the areas of WSH and innovation functions, events management, or related to culture building
• As part of the shortlisting process for this role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.
