The successful incumbent is responsible for the supervision of maintenance, servicing, and repair of all machines in the laundry plant, recycle plant, and boiler room. He/she will ensure periodic maintenance, servicing, and timely repair & restoration of the machines for the smooth running of the laundry operations.

• To ensure the availability of machines for daily production through preventive maintenance and scheduled maintenance. Examples of machines are laundry machines, low-tension switch gears water pumps, air compressors, boiler systems and recycle plant.

• To perform maintenance and repair of machines and troubleshoot machines' faults.

• To supervise and ensure contractors adhere to the safety regulations and prison rules and regulations.

Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or ITC in electronics
• Boiler License Class 1 / 2 preferred
• Boiler experience in the laundry/linen services industry preferred
• Experienced in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic-related problems, and is able to read all the above drawing

• At least 5 years of B1 or B2 Engineer experience

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Senior Facilities Engineer to ensure all services/ operations are running smoothly without unscheduled disruption and in compliance to all relevant authorities requirements.
• Support and execute preventive maintenance programs for building equipment to ensure that building equipment are inspected/ tested to meet authorities’ requirement.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure all building services works are done in compliance to contract or work orders.
• Day to Day operation and routine inspection of building facilities. Take regular meter readings and ensure system is operating in optimal condition.
• Perform general maintenance including building works repairs, electrical, air-conditioning and plumbing & sanitary systems.
• To supervise/ manage outsourced security and ensure security procedures are in place and being carried out at all times.
• Perform the role of 2nd in-charge of Site Incident Controller (SIC), and be part of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT).
• Assist the Fire Safety Manager (FSM) in conducting regular fire safety inspection of the premises, and cover the role of FSM during his absence.

Requirements:

• Currently residing and working in SG
• Min NITEC in Engineering (Mechanical & Electrical/ Building Services/ Facility Management or equivalent)
• Min 3 years’ experience in maintenance related field

• Assist engineer on projects to improve overall test equipment efficiency and effectiveness
• Support continuous improvement projects to improve yield, safety and quality.
• Propose and execute improvement projects to desired results

Adhere to and Promote Safety

• Identify and promptly report hazards
• Follow safety procedures and area work rules including proper PPE, lockout and chemical safety.
• Operate and maintain equipment and tools within manufacturers’ and company guidelines.
• Use proper lifting techniques and work in an ergonomically correct manner.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics)
• At least 2 years of experience in maintenance/manufacturing/servicing industry (fresh grads are welcomed to apply)
• Able to understand electrical/pneumatic schematics and design drawings, manuals and procedures.
• Good teamplayer with positive working attitude and initiative.
• Able to communicate through written and spoken English.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the yard team to ensure smooth deliveries, shipments, and secure storage of all stock within the warehouse.
• Conduct verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring compliance with purchase order specifications and contract documents.
• Prepare items for dispatch to clients using delivery documentation or delivery notes.
• Inspect the physical condition of the storage area, materials, and equipment to maintain high standards.
• Conduct physical inventories when required, in collaboration with the Financial Controller.
• Prepare discrepancy reports for items not in compliance with specified requirements.
• Support other departments by performing assigned duties as needed.
• Maintain a clean and presentable warehouse environment, assisting the Asst. Yard Manager in this regard.
• Adhere to the company's policies, objectives, and quality management system.

Requirements:

• NITEC/Diploma in Maritime Engineering.
• Ability to operate a forklift and other heavy equipment, with a commitment to obtaining safety certifications for their operation.
