What you will be working on

Grants Governance:

• To work on matters that may be assigned to strengthen grants policies and governance within the organisation and whole-of-government
• To understand requirements on grants governance, propose appropriate approach and measurements to obtain the required data
• To work with whole of government agencies and divisions to carry out the data collection plan
• To collate whole of government agencies’ returns and prepare sector reporting to the management

The successful candidate will join a dynamic team of scientists that focuses on vector biology, surveillance, and management. You will design and lead multi-disciplinary research and risk assessments related to insecticide resistance management and novel vector control technology. Your work will oversee laboratory functions that maintain multiple strains of mosquitoes for insecticide assessment, and develop control strategies to guide and inform operations, resource planning, and policy.

You are required to apply advanced concepts, methods, procedures, and technologies related to vector surveillance and control, and will be expected to publish findings in peer-reviewed scientific journals. The successful candidate will be working closely with the industry, international and local scientific experts.
