Monitor the fleet’s navigational, deck and cargo operation efficiency, ship and crew safety policies and ISM system.

A. Navigational Operation

§ Liaise with Masters on chart/publication/ENC updating & navigational issues.

Responsibilities:

• Achieve revenue targets and profitability for his/her outlet.
• Promote positive guests’ relations at all times.
• Manage opening, operating and closing procedures.
• Ensure that dining area comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance.
• Follow Food & Beverage Safety and Hygiene policies and procedures.
• Ensure menu board and beverage lists condition, specified amount of menus are available.
• Assist with expediting problem payments and ensure all cashiering procedures are processed in compliance with accounting standards.
• Monitor staff performance in all phases of service and job functions, ensuring that all procedures are carried out to restaurant standards, provide direct coaching when necessary.
• Conduct daily briefing and keep Operations Manager/ Directors informed on all items of interest.
• Ensure food and beverage inventories/ stocks are done in a consistent and accurate basis.
• Establish par levels for supplies, liquor, beer, wine and equipment. Complete requisitions to replenish shortages or additional items needed for the anticipated business through delegation.
• Interview potential Front of House new hire.
• Analyse information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
• Participate actively in implementing new ideas for improvement towards excellent services.
• Maintain training system to ensure that staff have the necessary framework and skills to perform their job efficiently and effectively.
• Establish challenging, realistic and obtainable goals to guide Front of House staff members in operation and performance.
• Ensure all Front of House staff members receive reviews and appraisals in a timely manner.

About this role

This traineeship is an opportunity for aspiring individuals who are keen to join aviation industry but do not meet the pre-requisites as a trained aircraft engine technician. Upon successful completion of the program, a career as a qualified aircraft engine technician awaits you.

About the Traineeship Program

· The program involves a fully-sponsored training program with an allowance of S$1,700 – S$1,900 per month over the one-year training period.

· The program encompasses initial company familiarisation, classroom training and on-the-job training.

· The initial familiarisation in SAESL provides an insight to the working environment prior to attending classroom training.

· The three-month classroom training, consisting of theory and practical sessions, will be conducted and assessed by an external training academy.

· The nine-month on-the-job training in SAESL provides the opportunity to learn and work on the renowned Rolls-Royce Trent Engines.

· Upon completion of the training, the qualified aircraft engine technician will serve a two-year bond with SAESL.

The Client Accounting – Corporate Executive will work closely with and assist the Client Accounting – Corporate Manager in all Client Accounting business efforts within the Company, including the implementation of new software and ad-hoc assignments assigned by the Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently handle a portfolio of Singapore private limited companies' clients for routine bookkeeping, payroll processing, GST, Corporate Tax and XBRL filing and meet ACRA and IRAS filing deadlines.
• Assist clients in preparing their monthly, quarterly, or annual management accounts.
• Responsible for preparing Unaudited Financial Statements (UFS) for the clients following Singapore FRS (Financial Reporting Standards).
• Assist clients with the preparation of quarterly GST returns, annual tax computations, and Form C or Form C-S and Appendices for submission to the IRAS.
• Liaise with and advise clients on on-going company's bookkeeping, payroll related, ACRA and IRAS related matters.
• Assist the Managers to guide and/or review Executives’ work in handling day to day business outsourcing services.
• Support the Managers in the transition of the accounting, GST, Corporate Tax transfer records from the take-over business and on boarding of new clients.
• Assist the Managers to implement new software, improve SOP, workflows and processes and ensure the team comply with relevant statutory acts and filing deadlines.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, local Polytechnic, ACCA, or related disciplines.
• 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, corporate tax, GST & XBRL in a Singapore outsourced accounting firm, compensation will commensurate with your experience.
• Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, ACRA, MOM, CPF and relevant tax rules, procedures and guidelines.
• Experience in managing client relationships, demonstrate interpersonal skills when interacting with internal and external clients.
