Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the assigned data centers' facility operations.
• Regular physical / visual inspection equipment and data center operations facilities.

• Collate and review all Data Centers' Maintenance Schedule, ensure minimal interference during Block Days.

• Track and record facility maintenance activities and change requests.
• Raise and manage Change Management requests for all maintenance servicing activities.

• Respond to facilities level crisis management activities including, but not limited to, power outages, HVAC outages, fire alarms and security concerns.

Business Management

Function Management

• Lead Payroll Function which is a team of payroll specialist
• Drives process optimization (ie the fastest and smartest way to “get there”)
• End to end scope of all payroll process include workflow, payment intricacies, compliance, validation, and invoice management via payroll feed, including processing some accounts (hands-on).
• Ensure timely process processing and accuracy.
• Intervention to investigate, analyse and resolve payroll issues that may arise.
• Gatekeeper to uphold payroll integrity and compliance.
• Employee engagement – drives effective communication on payment clarifications.
• Alleviate the function performance with a goal to gear the team to understand “business first”.
• Create a collaborative process with Finance accounting team to ensure proper reporting on invoices and compensation expenses.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in business, accounting, finance and any equivalent studies
• Experience in understanding business firstly and able to translate business thoughts to operation standard.

• Regularly conduct patrolling and inspection on site. Ensure efficient functioning of steam boiler, machine and process equipment.
• Update changes of the process and equipment as per MOC. Conduct Hazop analysis, review and revise risk assessment as well as update impacts, aspects and hazards listing.
• Report work injury immediately. Conduct incident/accident investigation. Propose and implement preventive/corrective action to all levels.
• Complete and review monthly operation report (e.g: costs. Productivity, quality, non conformances, etc) as well as prepare and analyze collected operation data sheets and records.
• Maintain filling of all documents, records and drawings in the section.
• Supervise a team of technician and operators in their job performance, conduct motivating or counselling session to improve staff’s quality and quantity of work when required.
• Plan on upgrade for the staff’s skill and knowledge required on the job. Provide sufficient in house training on operation, maintenance as well as emergencies response and evacuation knowledge to staff.

Secondary Role
