Job Description

• Manage and resolve technical issues of allocated vessels
• Monitor vessel performance, including maintenance and repairs to meet ship owners and charterers requirement
• Collaborate with the crew, suppliers, and external stakeholders to address technical challenges and ensure vessel safety and reliability.
• Assess and approve technical specifications for vessel repairs and upgrades.
• Budget implementation and control
• Approve vessel request for stores and spares to ensure correct specifications, quantity, quality and cost
• Organize dry dock and ensrue process is in compliance with procedures and specifications for vessels' dry dock inspection/repairs
• Conduct vessel inspection and ensure compliance with class/statutory regulations and company safety requirement and all surveys are carried out timely
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Requirement

• 1st Class Certificate of Competency, Marine Engineering Degree or equivalent
• 2 Years experience as Technical Superintendent, preferably with Chemical tankers
• 2 years of sea-going experience as Chief Engineer on board various types of vessels including Oil and Chemical tankers preferred
• Familiar with SIRE Vetting process
• Knowledge of maritime rules and regulations, codes, guidelines, ISM/ISPS/TMSA requirement
• Good spoken and written English communication skills
• Analytical, results oriented and ability to lead, control and good interpersonal skills
• Independent and resourceful to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Able to travel within short notice as required

You will assist and provide support to the Deputy Director in the management processes of the department, which includes departmental goal setting, business planning, capital budgeting, strategic initiatives, feedback and learning.

General job duties:

• Supervise the Main Library and Off-site Services

• Assist in establishing and implementing proper control procedures in the section and integrate it into the hospital system plan

• Assist in reviewing, establishing and implementing health information management systems in various aspects of records management

• Assist in the planning and preparation of annual budget

• Assist in the interview of prospective employees, in staff welfare activities, in the deployment of staff and in the maintenance of staff discipline

• Provide orientation and in-service education/training to staff

• Ensure provision of complete medical records for patient outpatient visits and coordinate the transportation of medical records

• Coordinate the tracing and despatching of inactive medical records from HIMS Record Library to off-site for storage

• Coordinate the receiving of inactive medical records recalled from off-site storage.

• Assist to manage the inventory of inactive medical records stored off-site

• Implement and maintain specific procedures to ensure that records systems are managed efficiently

• Ensure the confidentiality of medical is maintained at all times

• Ensure the proper archival of records

• Coordinate provision of medical records for research

• Participate in quality service programmes and activities

Job Requirements

• Degree in Health Information Management or any discipline, with 2 to 4 years of experience in administration and staff management

• Handling of cash with the aid of cash sorting machine
• Moving of cash boxes / cash bags / coin boxes from time to time

Role Summary

The Procurement Excellence Manager is a regional role responsible for developing and implementing strategies/principles/practices/tools/processes across the procurement discipline to drive global transformation and ensure the function meets its commitments to the organization. By influencing at the platform level, this position drives actions that bring about improvements which may include, but are not limited to quality, delivery, growth and margin expansion. The role holder will work closely with the Platform Supply Chain Directors/Managers as well as with Shared Service Finance to drive a Procure-to-Pay (PTP) solution for Flowserve.
